Anyone know anything about this BP medication, or have any experiences with it?

I had major headaches and constipation from it and after 3 weeks I said forget it, put me back on my old BP meds, which the doc did. I would not recommend it, but that is just me.

Hi Grundler,
My husband takes it. No problems at all. At first he was a little light headed, this was only for about 3 days at most.
Good luck!

Good to know. I have been taking it since the 20th. So far, my BP has come down, but that is it. No side effects. My doctor only thinks I will need to be on it until I get my weight down a little more.

I've taken it for a couple of years. 10mgs once a day, never had any side effects. I would never break a pill though, they just don't work right and I know they make them in 5 and 10mgs. My doc told me to call immediately if I had any problems such as tiredness, light headedness, etc, but I never did. So far, so good. My step mother takes it too, 20mgs daily. She's never had any problems with it either. This, however, is why I joined the "Y". I never had any ill effects from it, but I'd like to stop it eventually...

Good to know. I take 10mg a day, and it has brought my BP to 116 over 74. Before it was 138 over 92. It was responding to exercise, but not quick enough. Before I started cycling, it was 148 over 98.
