Given that we blatantly ripped off..err...paid tribute (!) to MousePlanet with our weekly round-up format, this seemed like a good place to let all HKDL fans know about our latest update.

Two new posts this morning.

Firstly, we have a photo update, showing construction photos with THREE cranes, as well as Santa posing for our cameras.

http://www.hkdlsource.com/news/viewstory?story=62

Following that, we have our This Week in Hong Kong Disneyland Weekly Roundup. This week we discuss the new biometric scanners and the THREE cranes flocking over Fantasyland.

Making up for the slow news week last week, we have a special DOUBLE SIZED issue for our last 'This Week' for the year. (Given that next Monday is Christmas and the one after that is New Year's day).

http://www.hkdlsource.com/news/viewstory?story=77

As we countdown to Christmas, Disney dropped a bombshell on us by announcing no less than three new attractions. We ask what this means for the future of the park, while simultaneously looking back at the year that was. Also, thanks to our resident spy, we have some hints that some major work is also being done in an area other than Fantasyland. Wait no longer - climb aboard the final round-up for the year!

It is always odd to see cranes in a Disney park.

Not at all, you see them all the time around the Rivers of America in WDW's Magic Kingdom. Herons, too.

Those miceage rumors are exciting to hear. Can't wait to see concept art eventually.

Has it been a week already? Time flies when you are having fun and being bombarded with all new concept art. This week, we discuss the rumours behind the previews seen in Disney's Annual Report, respond to some interesting Cast Member comments and of course, bring you all the latest closures and construction updates.

Another week has flown by, and you know that means it's time for another column nobody asked for. This week, we follow up some of the rumours and news spreading through the Internet like hot cakes - if rumours do actually spread like hot cakes - answer some of your questions and give you all the latest on park closures, events and deals.

As the Resort's Chinese New Year celebrations rage on, we've let one of our own loose in the park, stealing the fashion sense of yours truly. Of course, that's no reason to be afraid, as there are pigs a-plenty to protect you; a timeline of possible future changes; all the latest schedules, closures and deal and a whole lot of shameless self-promotion.

It's been seven whole days since we last posted one of these crazy columns, which seems just about right for a weekly discussion. This week in Hong Kong Disneyland, Chinese New Year begins; love is in the air for Valentine's and Jay Rasulo starts talking about the future of smaller Disney parks. Did someone say small? Plus, we bring you all the latest closures; specials and updates on construction.

I am hating this idea of smaller Disney parks. It is one reason I don't want HKDL to do that well until they build it up. I don't want them to think this is a good idea.

And great update againl. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Given the sheer amount of photographic material we have to get through this week, we thought we'd do something a little different and make this week's column more of a photographic journey through the last week in the park. So join us as we present Part One of this week in Hong Kong Disneyland - in pictures!

It's been about a week since the last weekly column, so HKDL Source feel comfortable about unveiling the latest 'This Week in Hong Kong Disneyland'. This week, we discuss the latest piratey developments and discuss just how far the park has come in the last 18 months. We also engage in shameless self-promotion, and bring you some recent news about upcoming closures in the park. So what are you waiting for?

It's back! The column nobody seems to complain about - much. This week in Hong Kong Disneyland, there seems to be construction mania going on. It's a Small World continues; something strange happening in Adventureland and toilets. Yes, toilets. With a plug like that, we bet you can't wait to read the rest of the column.

Just as they will in May and June in Hong Kong Disneyland, pirates seem to have temporarily taken over HKDL Source. They are dominating everything we do. So for a quick break, This Week in Hong Kong Disneyland we are going to talk about...pirates. There's also dance parties, awards and rumoured Chinese parks...but you'll just have to read more to find out about that!

Loomis, what has happened to your HKDL site? Keep getting a message page doesn't exist.

We were moving servers (multiple times), but everything seems to be back to normal (almost) now.

Didn't think we'd forget did you? A huge update this week includes pirates updates; Mickey's WaterWorks news; construction photos and word on the Bizarro Disneyland in China that has recently been the subject of 'Net discussion. If that isn't enough, we also engage in rampant laziness.

We've also updated the galleries with 80 Pirates-related photos:

In a week where they are literally giving tickets away, we ask 'Who's paying for all of this'? With the Hong Kong government leaving Disney to foot the bills, will this mean that we see more or less in the future? More to the point, when's that toilet near the entrance going to be finished? For answers to these deep and meaningful questions, not to mention important dates and promotions, jump aboard the latest crazy journey through This Week in Hong Kong Disneyland.

Pirates premieres, B-list celebrities and magic vegetables? Is this the work of some sleazy tabloid? That's entirely possible, but what we do know for sure is what is going on This Week in Hong Kong Disneyland. We also cover the latest closures, and require a tiny bit of class participation. Jump on board the gourd of fun!

Welcome back to another edition of the weekly column that does seem to be missed when it isn't here.

http://news.hkdlsource.com/story/161

This week, we discuss the forthcoming HK SAR celebrations; Pirates rumours; the it's a small world construction and the official launch of our HKDL Source 1.5. We also give you a hint about what is coming on the site in the next month or so. Jump on in, we're back and more colourful than ever!

It's been a whole week since the last weekly column! Who would have thought time could fly by so swiftly. This week we talk about Pirate Land's less than imminent departure, Hong Kong SAR's birthday, baseball, bogus bombers and our own upgrades.

http://news.hkdlsource.com/story/167

It's a jam-packed issue, so get to reading right now!
