Thank you all for the great suggestions. I'm loving the stories. I think we've decided to tell the kids at different times. For my daughter, we will give her a birthday card at her slumber party and a note saying that as her present we will take her out to eat on her birthday at L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante (which is in Epcot and we have reservations for dinner there on her actual B-day becauses she LOVES Italian food). It will then be up to her to figure out where the restaraunt is. I'm sure it won't take her too long she is an Internet wiz. But I don't want my son to feel left out and he won't be at her party. So I like the idea of a scavenger hunt or puzzle for him. I'm still trying to decide. So if you have anymore suggestions. Let me know! Thanks again.

Were just going to pick them up from school (early) in the rv (we rented and packed) and say just get in let's go. Were not going to tell them anything. Im not even telling them what direction were going. We'll see how long it takes them to figure it out. Especially since the first day after we get there were just goin to check in at the campground and hang out. The christmas eve were just going to drive to WDW and not say a thing.

OK so the kids did not figure it out for them selves and I cracked at lunch in Virgina-6 hours from home. I had figured they would figure it out when we went by the Welcome to Va sign but they were watching a DVD. So when we stopped for lunch they were a bit :confused: , we never stop for lunch on the way to my girlfriends house (2hours away). But they figure what ever. So as we are waiting to order I said to DS (7) 'so what would you say if I said we drove past Aunt Kristin's house already?' DS-Huh? Why?
Me-' Well since we drove past her house why don't we go to some one else's house?' DS & DD 'what? who's house?!' Me- ' I don't know...how about Mickey's house?' DD& DS- Huh? Me- 'Well since we are already half way through Va why not keep going to WDW?' DD & DS ' really? your lying!' Me- 'Nope look here are the park passes' They still did not believe me, so I had them ask the waitress where we were and she said Va. Then they both went all :fez: & :eek: &:D .
It was a lot of work keeping the secret and I am not sure I could do it again, but the kids loved it!
