My daughter has had so much trouble completing whatever quest it is that will eventually let her into the Tomorrowland store that she got frustrated and gave up. The problem with this one was that she needed to "catch" 45 ghosts, and neither of us has been able to do that. I even bought a new mouse (the computer kind) thinking it might help, but no luck. Grrr.

I got the idea to have her use my character instead, which only had to catch 30. She did it on her second try, but missed the answer to a subsequent question, and now she has to do the ghost catching all over again. Double grrr!!

She can't remember the exact question she missed, but it has to do with finding a place where vehicles have metal wheels. Apparently, she went to the wrong location in Tomorrowland (Space Mountain), and that was counted as a wrong answer.

Does anybody know where it is that she has to go? Please save me from VMK parental insanity, cuz it's right around the bend...and don't even get me started on the fireworks game! LOL

I'm not totally sure what quest you're doing, sounds like one of the car ones? Anyhoo, if you go to http://www.vmkingdom.com/forum/ then search for whichever quest you are doing (or scroll down to the quest section) the ansers are listed there, hope that helps:)

Thanks for the help! We managed to get through the ghost game (yeesh!) and thanks to the links you two provided, got almost all the way through driving quest. Now we're stuck on the second to last task of that quest -- the fireworks game.

She played, I played, and we played together. Here's what is making me crazy (crazier?) -- the game keeps booting us out BEFORE we play or in the middle of a round. We'll wait in the lobby, the screen will go black like we're about to enter the game, and then we'll get the "returning to the castle lobby" indicator. Or, we'll start playing, finish only the first stage, and get returned to the lobby. Every now and then it will let us play to the score part, but rarely.

We have DSL, we have newer computers, we got rid of our wireless mice thinking that might be a problem. But we can't get higher than 45,000 on this game --when we manage to get in or stay in. Is the booting thing a new problem? Is it common? It's so frustrating!

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. (Besides "get a life;" that's a no brainer. LOL!) I don't know who is going to cry with frustration first -- my daughter, or her mommy! :rolleyes:

Yeah, there is a lot of problems with the fireworks game, especially when a new quest comes out and people are flooding in there in their hundreds! From my experience, it should sort itself out. If it's returning you to the lobby etc, then try another day, that seemed to work for me. Once I was second, and on the second last level, and it threw me out!:mad: Just keep trying!

Good luck Tinkermommy, maybe you have already finished it. I stink at fireworks, my husband is the only one in our home who can do it. His advice is it's better to get more of them then quality. Although the people who are really good get both :rolleyes: . We have noticed that it's easier at different times of the day. Usually in the evenings there seems to be a lot of good players on. Try playing at different times. Good Luck! :)

We FINALLY completed the car quest tonight!! As I posted here before, we were stuck on the fireworks game for a VERY long time. The game was driving both of us crazy, because it kept returning us to the lobby in between stages of different levels; NOT at the point where it would return you if you didn't have a high enough score. It was so frustrating that I e-mailed VMK about the problem last night.

Anyway, tonight I started playing the fireworks game, and got further than we'd ever gotten. We needed 84,000 points, and when I got to about 60,000, I started to panic so my little one took over. She got over 102,000! At the end, we both were so nervous because it sort of froze for the longest time, and we were SO afraid we were going to get disconnected without getting credit (again). But we waited it out, and she was able to move on and get the car. YAY!!

We went straight into the next quest, and were more than halfway through when VMK closed for the night. Hopefully tomorrow we can finish it!

Isn't it funny how something little like winning one of these games can be so exciting. My boys and I were playing pirates once, and I think I got a score that was in the low 400's and my boys and I were screaming and laughing and I just had to call my husband who was just as excited. LOL.

We loooove our little pink car! Now we're "stuck" in the Jungle Cruise game. We need 30,000, and can't seem to get over 21,000. But we'll keep working on it!

Next will be to try to get the car for my daughter's character. Her quest required more ghosts than mine (car color different) and she's never been able to catch enough. But at least "we" have a car (on my character)!
