How long has this been going on?

Legoland last fall decided to close two days a week (I think Tuesdays and Wednesdays) for financial reasons during the off season. Many parks have done it, Disneyland and Knott's used to be closed one day a week, and Six Flags Magic Mountain doesn't operate every day in the slow season.

Legoland is a year round operation....
