Saw in another thread that someone brought food into Legoland (snacks) but Legoland's website says no outside food is allowed. Do they check your bags, and if they do, are they like Disneyland (okay to bring snacks and plastic water bottles, but no glass or coolers)? Thanks so much!

We were just there last weekend, and they do not have anyone checking your bags. We always bring snacks for our toddler when we go out, so we did bring our own snacks for her into the park.

We will buy our lunch and dinner in the park, and the kids will get a special treat or two (i.e. churro or whatever) but it's nice to know I can bring in some snacks and water for standing in line. :D

It is a "generic" rule to not allow outside food or drink into the park, although no one will deny you entry, as long as its nothing too extreme....

The park closes pretty early (5 pm or 6 pm) most nights. Don't plan on having dinner there.
I was there today. Longest line was 7 minutes. Shortest line was "walk-on". You won't have much time to eat in line. Still, you should bring drinks and snacks.

Thanks. Guess I'm just used to long lines at DL. :D Short lines will be very welcome!

They don't check for food in bags, or bags in general. The park does close early, and the ride next to Kid Power Tower(I forgot what it's called) has a ridiculous line, but It's really fun.
My favorite ride was the Dragon Coaster. I loved all the rollercoasters, because for a chicken like me those were so fun! Most of them remind me of Muhlolland Madness at DCA.

Thanks! So you recommend doing this Kid Power Tower ride early on?

I'm glad to hear the roller coasters are low key. DS7 likes the gadget coaster at DL.

I didn't post it, but you misunderstood that post. The other poster was referring to the Sky Cruiser. It is the ride NEXT TO the Kid Power Tower (which is a lot of work if you ask me). Yes, go to the Sky Cruiser first and get it out of the way.

From the LL website:

On a track high above Fun Town, you will see the unique and colorful pedal cars of Sky Cruiser. The Kid Power Towers are towers of fun that give a panoramic view of the Park and the Pacific Ocean, capped with an exhilarating kid-sized "free fall" to the bottom.

The Kid Power Tower might be a little much for our boys, but the Sky Cruiser looks tamer. Is it a coaster ride, or just a high in the air but slow moving ride? Thanks! :D
