Santa Clara, Calif. – Military service members and emergency services personnel will receive free park admission during Paramount's Great America “Salute to Heroes” on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. In addition, up to six family members will receive half-price admission.

“Memorial Day calls us to remember those who have lost their lives in service to America, and the heroes who continue to risk their own lives every day to protect and serve us,” said Gayle Ando, general manager and executive vice president for Paramount's Great America. “Offering our men and women in the military and emergency services a special day in the park with their families is our way of saying thanks for their dedication and commitment.”

Military service members include active U.S. military and activated members of the National Guard or Reservists. Emergency service personnel include firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, EMTs and support personnel. Those qualified are asked to show their badge or ID at any open ticket window. Up to six family members (who must accompany the guest receiving the complimentary ticket) receive half-price admission. Spouses of those currently serving overseas receive a half-off discount. Tickets are only valid on Monday, May 27, 2002.
