Is there such a thing as a regular shuttle between these 2 locations? Knotts site says on there page here

http://www.knotts.com/park/guest/trans.shtml

that

AirportBus offers round-trip transportation from Anaheim, Universal City, downtown Los Angeles,
and Hollywood hotels to Knott's Berry Farm several times throughout the day. Reservations are not
required.

but they deny such a thing exists, although they are willing to charter a point to point for me. I would imagine such a thing would be a bit expensive.

I also called Super Shuttle and they said effetively the same thing.

Anyone know if there is a cheap-ish way to get from the Disneyland area to the Knott's area?

Thanx

Yes, take the LA Metro bus route 460. $1.25 one way, and takes about 20 minutes, as the 460 is an express bus with limited stops.

You pick it up right in front of the Disneyland Pedestrian Entrance on Harbor (Main bus stop on the west side of the street).

Yes, indeed, be sure to take a look at the on-line maps of the L.A. "Metro" and the Orange County "OCTA." They are pretty comprehensive. The maps and time schedules are in PDF format, so you can save them to disk and blow-up the size for detail. "I like 'em."

Awesome, thank you very much.

I notice they dont seem to run past 11pm or so. So if I wanted to stay till 1am at knotts (when they close for the halloween haunt) I would have to take a cab home.

Anyone know about how much that costs?

The cab will be about $20 plus tip

We will be staying at the Days Inn Anaheim-MainGate

there site states nothing of a shuttle. I have emailed them a query about one but they havent responded yet.

Oh, definitely call.

Usually hotels do offer a shuttle but if not the bus would be great {except at night}.

I think the system that we normally use {the ART? system?} doesn't go that far and I don't know the hours....

Just as an FYI to those that may stay at Days Inn

they DO NOT offer a shuttle to Knotts. only to disneyland.

Not a big deal, ill just have to rid the bus there and cab it back.

Thanx for all the info guys.

P.S

I posted this in another thread but does anyone know if the Knott's pre-scare dinner is worth while to a vegetarian + eater of Seafood? My girlfriend does not eat beef/pork/fowl only seafood and veggies.

Thanx
