View Full Version : How busy will the park be [crowds] [merged]?
MommyTo2Boys1Girl 04-17-2007, 02:20 PM bloodnswash, Yep, had we only known. I am with you about everyone reciting HM, it gave me the chills!
hlbtimes2-that is part of the reason why even when we go during the week, we usually go Tuesday-Saturday, is so we can see the night time shows they don't normally have on the weekdays. I think we get the best of both worlds.
jcruise86 04-18-2007, 04:04 PM How busy was Disneyland on Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday (April 16th, 17th, and/or 18th)?
I'm considering going tomorrow, but I won't if it's been unusually crowded.
Sorry I didn't find the old "How busy. . ." thread. I searched, but I didn't find it.
jcruise86 04-18-2007, 07:21 PM Anyone? HELP!
(Please.)
Another Dimension 04-18-2007, 08:29 PM Today had a healthy crowd.
Not that bad or packed.. but it was healthy in both parks.
Around 3:30 Screamin' had a 20 min stand by wait, with Fast Passes going for 5:30 and when I walked by, Buzz had a 20 minute wait with Fast Passes still going for 6:30, about an hour after the Screamin' times....

littlestarsmom 04-22-2007, 12:14 PM What week would be better Tuesday May 29 thru Friday June 1 or Tuesday June 5 thru Friday June 8?
If we went the last week of May there is a grad night scheduled for Thursday and is sold out, how would that effect the busyness?
Thanks,
Kim

KimBoth weeks have grad nites on Thurs nights.
littlestarsmom 04-22-2007, 07:17 PM I know they both have grad night on Thurs. night. I just thought that since the one was already sold out there would be more of a possibility that it will be crowded during the day too.
vbecky 04-24-2007, 02:05 PM I am looking for some inside tips if anyone know the expected crowds for the last week in June would go to the parks Mon. - Wed. Looking for any advice for anyone that has been this time of year? I have a room reservation but am scared that the crowds might be real busy? Any Help!! Thanks.

We're also planning a trip for the same week. We usually plan our trip for this time every year. In my experience, late June is better than the rest of Summer. We started doing this on the recommendation of a former cast member who said it was the best time to go because it's typically the first week the park is open until midnight every day. And because the summer vacation crowds don't pick up until July. One year we tried a week earlier and had to deal with grad night.
MinnieMomma 04-25-2007, 05:15 PM I had an interesting, though short, conversation on the phone with a hotel reservations person. I was cancelling a reservation for mother's day weekend (long story) and the guy on the phone said "Well, maybe you can make it back for the Nemo opening" I made some sarcastic remark about how uncrowded it will be and he said "Well, right now, we only have a few conventions here that week and otherwise its empty" (?) Lets see if they come up with any good deals. I thought it was funny he was mentioning it to me, no one has ever done that before when I've called about reservations.
Rascalsfungirl 04-25-2007, 05:57 PM What about Memorial Day weekend. We are going May 27th thru the 29.
Wildwill 04-25-2007, 06:21 PM Friday April 27th? With the get-together going, how crowded will it be for the rest of us folk?

What's the "get-together"? The Von's 2-for-1 promotion? If the last day was the 26th for the first day, I wonder if many people will use their second day on the 27th.
I'm also thinking of going tomorrow, Friday, April 27, so I hope Darkbeer or another reader in the know will enlighten us!
GodsDisciple 04-26-2007, 09:27 AM I've gone on this same weekend before, last weekend in April and it wasn't very packed at all. All the kiddies are all back in school. Its a nice time before the Memorial day weekends and the beginning of summer crowds. I'm looking forward to Friday and Saturday. See you all there!!!

If you're talking about MouseAdventure, there are only about 500 people at DLR for MouseAdventure - we REALLY don't impact the crowd level, LOL.
Adrienne
Wildwill 04-26-2007, 06:48 PM Yeah, and that's on Sunday, not Friday anyway...so looks like we'll be crowd free.
Darkbeer 04-26-2007, 07:13 PM Tomorrow is the first day of the DCA Food and Wine Weekends, so that should being out some extra AP holders, plus those AP holders who missed the Traditional versions of Space Mountain and Screamin'. But with not many folks off of school, I don't think it will be too busy.
In fact, Lisa and I plan to spend the day at the park, just to enjoy Space Mountain in the dark, and the F&W events, and of course photos....
DisneyDustin22 04-26-2007, 07:23 PM I will be there tomorrow afternoon/night doing photography. If you see a strikingly handsome man walking around with a camera (Ha! like a needle in a stack of needles) please come up and say hi!
;)
DisneyMa 04-26-2007, 08:01 PM So what's your input for the crowds May 6 - May 9th? (Sunday - Wen)
Please tell me we will be avoiding any bad crowds.
TIA

Hey, where's Darkbeer?
Once again, we didn't even get a chance to thank him.
I'm not taking part in the Mouse Adventure with you 500 maniacs, but I will be there. Wouldn't it be nice if all 501 of us each chipped in ten bucks and treated him to lunch at the Blue Bayou?
If this doesn't happen (and let's face it, it won't), I suggest we all raise our Dole Whips and toast, "To Darkbeer!"
(Seriously, THANKS AGAIN!)
stan4d_steph 04-28-2007, 08:34 AM Hey, where's Darkbeer? Once again, we didn't even get a chance to thank him.Send him a PM.
nursemelis374 04-28-2007, 05:47 PM Crowd report for Friday April 27th: We were sitting next to the line board around 7 and every wait time was 15-25 minutes. The park seemed crowded, but the lines weren't too bad.
