Oh geez, I didn't realize that people specifically had Lincoln's bday off, I thought people just had Presidents Day the next Mon. off. Ok... I guess we better be prepared.

1/21 is also a So. Cal A/P ticket day, it will be busy from mid morning until about 7pm. According to Al Lutz, 700,000 So. Cal A/P's are presently active, with that number growing each week with marketing ploys such as the photo below.

I'm in the midst of planning a trip to Disneyland for mid-late March. Can anyone point me to a list of conventions and school holidays so I can plan my trip around those dates? Thanks!

Well yesterday evening was very light. the only real lines i saw were matterhorn (very dissapointing) and space mountain. Most of the other rides were very little to no line. Maybe try for going during the weekdays?

I was there today 9-1:30 and thought the crowds were quite light. I realize it probably got much busier in the later afternoon/evening, but we had a lot of fun in the morning. Splash was a 5 minute wait at 10:00 and still 5 minutes at 11:30. We went on Peter Pan, Tea Cups, Autopia, train, Splash twice, Pirates and then went to DCA for about an hour in the Animation building. We also spent a good amount of time sitting on benches people watching.

I remember reading on one thread something about a convention or something this weekend, but I'm not sure. Can someone confirm this? Thanks!

Crowds were light until 11:30. Got a millon dreams giveaway lanyard exiting splash mtn. it was cool.

I know there is supposed to be a convention all next week but what about this Friday thru Sunday. I can't get there in time for the mid week slow days but will I be stuck in crowds all weekend?

March 4-9 (Sunday through Friday) - Any predictions? I know there is a cheerleading thing ending on the 4th - do these people generally filter out that day or hang on for additional days?? Thanks -

The veterans must get tired of noobies like me asking about projected attendance. But I will do it anyway! We are going April 30th to May 4 (Mon-Fri). How is this time of year... no school holidays that I know of. Any way to find out if there are any conventions at that time? Thanks to the veterans.

On Monday February 19th which is one of the presidents days. will it be busy? please let me know. im planning on taking me gf there for a surprise on that day and I would liek it to be fair or small amount of people there. thank you

I will also be there on that day, and from what I've gathered from everyone, YES, it will be very busy. It is a holiday,with people off work,and kids out of school. I would plan for the worst,hope for the best.

My boyfriend and I have APs and we usually go on Sundays. They crowds usually aren't too bad, but I wouldn't exactly say light. We decided to go on a Friday after work one time, and we got there at around 4:30, and the park was PACKED. I have read trip reports from Friday's before and the reporters have said that the park wasn't busy. Are Friday's generally light in the morning but busy by late afternoon? Looking at taking Friday Feb. 9th off of work, but I don't really want to take the time off if it's supposed to be busy, we have become spoiled and tend to leave when it's crowded since we don't lose out on any money, just fun :( . Does anyone have any input?

I've noticed the park is more crowded on Friday evening than on Sunday, which surprised me too. It might be because there are fireworks on Friday and none on Sunday. With Fantasmic gone on Sundays as well, that will be even less incentive to go on Sundays.

We will be there on Friday the 9th also. I was hoping that because this is supposed to be a bit of the off season it might be a little slower than most Friday's but who knows. I think I remember reading that some schools have Monday off (I am not sure why) and sometimes that can make the weekends busier. Best of luck, I am sure it will be fun no matter what the crowds are like ;) !

Moday the 12th is Lincolns birthday. That is also the last weekend for Fantasmic.

April 8th is Easter and we have spring break April 9th through 13th... how bad do you think it will be that week? The last thread I just saw a lot of people have Spring break in March... what do you think?

That is the week we will be there as well. It seems like most people do have spring breaks in March and that is why we chose April, since our kids are still in preschool. But it seems like they are still predicting big crowds right around Easter:confused:

Many Orange County public schools still seem to have the traditional week after Easter as their spring break. It will be busy.
