View Full Version : Looking for DLR and WDW CMs DisneylandParisCM 09-30-2006, 09:12 AM Hi, not sure where to post this, but I'm a new CM at DLP and I would be interested to get in touch with CMs at DLR,WDW, DCL to know how things work on the other side of the Atlantic. Back in the 80s we were paid $120,000 per year, provided with free housing in the apartments above Main Street and Adventureland, and given the use of cars called Mouse-mobiles. (They were modified BMWs.) Meals were, of course, free, and--as part of our 12 weeks of vacation time--the company paid for us to travel (first class air and suites at Disney Resort hotels) to the Disney parks in Orlando and Tokyo, provided we fill out a comments postcard. Is this how it is for employees at Disneyland Paris today? I'm in my 40s now and it's possible that I remember it differently than it was. I'm glad to hear that France has Disney Freaks just like America has. Maybe France, the U.S. and Japan should form The Free World's United Nations of Disney! It'd be no more stupid than John Lennon's song "Imagine." I want to be a CM at one of the Disney parks, and DLP is my closest, so I'm keeping it in mind. How much French do you need to know if you want to work there?
