Running Thru Disneyland

This question has probably been asked before, but I can't seem to find it.

Are you allowed to take a jog thru Disneyland before the park opens?

No. However, the Grand Californian Hotel regularly has a morning run through DCA before opening.

I'll see if I saved the agenda, but if not I will inquire when I am back for Halloween. They had two groups leaving early in the morning. A slow walk/jog group, and a run group. IIRC, each left from the GCH entrance to DCA, went to the right, around the pier, then up by the main entrance, around the hollywood pictures backlot, and then back to the GCH.

Running thru DCA would fantastic. How do you decide whether you are a runner or a jogger? I'm kinda in between, but definatley not a walker.

Ok, the saved agenda I have is for the morning power-walk. I know I am not crazy and have the run option somewhere. Maybe it was something they tried and then didn't continue. I'll either call or ask while I am there, unless someone beats me to it.

Has anyone confirmed or denied the AM run and/or walk info? I just tried to call the GCH and WDTC, but the got no live operators.

No on the run. Yes on the walk as of December. The walk wasn't offered every day though.

Thats cool you can run/walk/jog or whatever through the park before it opens. Too bad WDW doesnt do that.

Since everyone jogs/runs at a different pace, I'd say it's the level of effort you're putting in. If you're breathing hard and getting your heart rate above your lactate threshold, then you're running. If you're breathing moderately hard, and can go for this pace for a long time, then you're jogging.

I just spoke to someone at the Walt Disney Travel Company. She had never heard of running or walking thru DCA before it opens. She asked me to seek the help of guest relations upon check-in. She offered me info on tours, but not a clue on an AM jog.
