Now that you've done it, or at least read about it how many plan to run/walk the Disneyland Half next year?
We were all set to do it again, and even add a few days to the trip to enjoy the parks. Then we found out they are holding it on Labor Day weekend next year, and that killed the whole plan. I don't fly on holiday weekends, and I think that the parks are pretty busy that weekend, too. I'm hoping they decide to move the date back in 2008, so we can do it again.

As vacation weekends go, I think Labor Day is actually the least busy that Disneyland encounters, because families who travel have pretty much done it by this time, and are preparing to have their kids go back to school. These reasons, I think, are part of why they chose this new date, to fill the hotels and the park.
As a local, I also think Labor Day is notoriously one of the hottest days of the summer. I plan to register for next year's half marathon, but steeling myself for the likely more abrasive weather conditions.

I got the survey e-mail today, and I said I was uncertain about participating in 2007, because of Labor Day. Maybe if we flew in on Saturday, and out on Tuesday or Wednesday, it wouldn't be too bad. Thanks for the infomation.
