It has been suggested to us that the driver of our car (Dh) drops me, the kids, and the stroller off at the Habor entrance and we walk to DL and get in line before park opening. Then Dh parks the car at Mickey and Friends and takes the tram and then finds us in line. Does anybody do that? or have tried that? Is that better then all of us parking, catching the tram with six kids and a double stroller? The first day we are there is a Friday and DL opens at 8:00 am and isn't scheduled as an EE day.

I haven't done that before but based on everything else you've posted, I'd say it's probably a very good idea! I dread doing the tram during busy times when I have three kids and a stroller that folds up tightly. If I have my three and my double stroller, I frequently walk because it's faster and/or less anxiety than dealing with the tram.

I've done that before. I stioll often take my triple stroller and would much rather walk as well instead of trying to get that thing on the tram.

Thanks, I think we will try that. Do you have to take everything out of the stroller to go through security? When we went to DC and New York last summer we actually had to take everything out of the stroller and fold it up so it could go through the metal dectors. I hope we don't have to do that again, it was a pain.

You'll have to put all of your bags on the tables and open them for the CMs to look in. This weekend they only looked inside the big sections of my backpacks. Other times, they've made me open every section. It all depends on who you get and what kind of mood that person is in. They'll probably look in your baskets. If they can't see enough, they may ask you to remove some items.
