My husband and I are taking a trip to Disneyland and Universal November 5th-11th. We are only spending 1 day and Universal Studios. Both of us haven't been there in 10+ years. So we will want to see everything they have.
My questions to those of you who have been there is, Are the Front of the Line Passes worth the Money?
Being we're there one day only and limited on time being it's winter hours.

For us in July the front of the line pass was worth it! SO WORTH IT!

In my opinion.
SUMMER -- yes.
WINTER -- no.
The off season for USH, especially weekdays, implies very short lines.
(I mean, they close at 6:00 p.m., for goodness sakes, on a Friday, when off-season!! Is that nuts for a Southern California attraction, or what??)
How many dollars extra for the front-of-line pass? -- If the extra bucks are pocket change, then why not splurge? If the extra bucks mean you miss a fancy meal or don't buy trinkets, then wait the extra 10-20 minutes per ride.
I always take the cheapest route. The exceptions are few and far between. But for a sudden influx of cash, or for a special day like a birthday, I can see myself blowing $10 or $20 for luxuries, like "VIP Parking" or "All You Can Eat" coupons.
Each piggy bank always tells me, "Nope. Not gonna do that. Wouldn't be prudent."

No, need. Get there at opening. Plan a good route. Don't do the tram until later in the day.

I did the VIP tour which included FOTL access. Granted the tram tour was much longer than the normal tour and we took in most everything, I was grateful for the FOTL pass and wouldn't hesitate to use it again. Great bargain. In fact, your biggest concern is how many others are getting it as well (but I believe they limit the numbers they sell daily).
