Grilled cheese-2% cheese and 2 slices reduced calorie bread. "Grilled" in ICBINB spray. low fat yogurt with fiber 1 cereal. 2% cheese slices with ff whole wheat crackers. de-caf, ff sf lattes from Starbucks. Can you tell that I get alot of my milk servings from my snacks? And yep, I LOVE it when my ice cream is low fat, reduced sugar and has FIBER in it. I probably don't wanna know how it gets in there though;) Blue Bunny is a favorite brand.

mmm...yum. good ideas. Mine are:
white cheddar soy crisps from TJ's (18 for 2 pts.)
Special K Snacks (vanilla and strawberry)

Did anyone try the WW new lemon bars? I haven't yet, but I have heard good things.

Raw veges - love 'em! Carrot sticks (or baby carrots), cauliflower florets, cucumber sticks, celery...all good.

And I've rediscovered spirulina shakes. They look awful but they're soooo good!

Yoplait Whips, keep them in the freezer and give them a minute to soften before eating. Yummy!

Bananna Crisps (not chips) from Trader Joes. 2/3 C. is 40 cal, 1g fat, 1g fiber.
On WW they are 1 point per serving or 4 points for the whole bag. The best part about them is they really don't taste like bananna chips, they taste like potato chips!!!!!

Kettle Brand Bakes Potato Chips

We sampled some of these at Whole Foods today. We tried plain, barbecue and cheddar, all very yummy. We ended up buying some of the Barbecue one.

Banana Crisps update--should I be the bearer of bad news? According to this morning's Hungry Girl email update:

***We've been warning you about our suspicions that the nutritional info on Trader Joe's Banana CRISPS is off. According to test results from two independent labs, these supposed 40-calorie, 1g-of-fat snacks were found to have about FOUR times the calories and SIX times the fat as the package states! This information was sent to us by subscribers, along with the lab results. We're just reporting the info here, people. ***

Sorry!

That is so obnoxious about the TJ's info being off! I know somebody sued them over Pirates Booty a few years ago, I guess they didn't learn their lesson.

I bought one of their French Tarts (ham, gruyere cheese, carmelized onions, yum!) and the nutrition info said 1/4 of the tart had 150 calories yet 100% of your RDA of calcium. I suspect something was wrong with that label as well. Not that I'm going to stop going to Trader Joe's, though.

Tiny derail: I love the Hungry Girl email updates. They're so informative.

Is a churro bad? Cause, I want one! ;)

Almonds!

They're an excellent source of vitamin E, which is an antioxidant. Studies have shown that eating nuts several times a week lowers circulating cholesterol levels and may help protect against cancer.

I like the new CocoaVia products that have both almonds and dark chocolate. A candy bar that's good for your heart!

WDW ODV also has fabulous cinnamon-roasted almonds. Way better than a churro.

.

And, if I recall from seeing Dr. Oz on Oprah...they have to be in the raw, not roasted. Cinnamon almonds....sounds like heaven!

And, if I recall from seeing Dr. Oz on Oprah...they have to be in the raw, not roasted. That sounds a little too much like the whole "raw foods" craze to me. They'll still be better for you than a churro.

Microwave popcorn is another fave of mine. I love the Orville Redenbacher Smart Pop.

The reduced-fat Nilla wafers are just as good as the regular ones but have 60% less fat. A serving is 8 cookies for 110 calories and 2g total fat (no sat fat or trans fat).

Fig Newtons Minis 100% Whole Grain come in pouches. Each pouch is 130 calories (3g total fat, 0.5g sat fat, 0g trans fat). There are a lot of little cookies in each pouch so you really feel like it's a nice treat.
