Knott's Scary Farm is being held from September 28th thru October 31st.

The Day of Price is $49 per person (no child discount, as the event is not recommended for children).

You can save $5 by going to the park in advance, and buying them in advance (no coupon needed).

But the BEST deals are with a coupon from a Southern California Burger King.

Knott's offers different levels of discounts based on how busy they think the park will be, the busier they think, the more you will pay.

The Best price is $28 on September 28th - October 1st, 4th, 8th, 11th and 30th.

$30 on September 29th, 30th - October 5th and 18th

$34 on October 6th, 12th, 15th, 19th, 22nd, 26th, 29th and 31st.

$39 on October 7th, 13th, 14th 20th and 27th.

With the Burger King Coupon, you can use it on the Day of the event, but sales stop when the event is sold out.

The best deal you can get on the two most popular nights, October 21st and 28th is the $5 off by buying it in advance.

You can also buy tickets at a discount thru Ticketmaster at

www.ticketmaster.com/knotts (http://www.ticketmaster.com/knotts)

With the special promotional code "BKING", you will get the same prices mentioned above, but you will pay over $5 extra a ticket in a surcharge, and if there is enough time, you can have them mailed to you for free, or pay $2.50 to use the Print at Home option.

So go grab a coupon at Burger King.....

And if anyone can't get a coupon, let me know, as I have a few extras...

Also the "Pre-Scare" Dinners will be offered, I don't have the details yet, but they will be offered in multiple locations, the most expensive and popular is the one inside the park at the Auntie Pasta Restaurant, they also hold them at the Picnic Area and at the Hotel. All you can eat food, and early entry into the park. Usually around $12 to $20 a person.

You can call the Halloween Haunt Information line at (714) 220-5000 for more info.

Also, Knott's will offer the "Haunted Dreams" package for two.

You get 1 night at the Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel (Standard room for 2 persons)

2 tickets to Halloween Haunt

2 Pre Scare Dinners at Hotel Restaurant

2 Halloween Haunt T-Shirts

2 Breakfast Buffets

Complimentary Hotel Parking.

The Package is $249 for weekdays, $299 for Friday and Saturday night stays.

You can call the hotel at (714) 995-1111 or (866) 752-2444 and mention "Haunted Dreams". Other packages are available.

I went last year (2005).
I indeed used my Burger King coupon, and saved about 50% over the cost of the big weekend full-retail price.

You know, I bought an annual pass for KNOTT'S in December.
KNOTT'S has NOT sent me any newsletter, and has NOT sent any e-mail.

While I like the lack of spam, I would have thought that KNOTT'S would publicize some events, like the acts in the Charles M. Shultz Theater, or some kind of insider data for some kind of seasonal event.
But nothing.
I wonder why the marketing department of KNOTT'S does not consider the Annual Passholders (actually, "Theme Park Passport" holder) worth targeting.

You should be getting a flyer in the mail shortly that will have a coupon that gives you a better price on selected days than the Burger King coupon. In the past, it is a single glossy piece of paper folded in thirds, sealed with a piece of tape. I think you should see it this week or next.

It is one of the few mailers that Knott's does for AP holders. As far as I can remember, you get the Haunt flyer, and your renewal notice.

Do you know of any discounts for regular (not Knott's Scary) admission, for October?

The current regular Park admission special is $15 off Adult tickets with any Pepsi product thru October 6th, 2006.

And there should be another special after that.

Just check their website before they go, they always list the current specials....

Got a Mailing that was sent to Knott's Annual Pass Holders.

The coupons are...

$24.50 (half price) on September 28th and 29th, and October 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th, 11th, 15th, 18th & 30th.

$27 on October 12th, 19th, 22nd, 26th, 29th and 31st.

So if you know an AP holder, ask them (there are multiple coupons for each offer in the mailer).

Is the Knott's Pre-Scare dinner worth it for a Pescetarian (basically a vegatarian who eats seafood, but not beef or fowl)
???

How about the upgraded Knott's dinner for slightly more? It mentions roast beef but is there enough non-meat options for it to be worth it?

Thanx

Rayston
