Two new news items were posted today by Lani. Oddly enough, they were posted to both the news and the general entertainment forums. Now, I don't mean to be picky, and I certainly would never question the moderators (:p), but have I not, in the past, seen people reprimanded for cross posting to two forums, even if it is just to inform a larger section of MP readers?

I believe it was discussed in the "New News Section" thread that Mousepad readers would like to be able to discuss News items without being forced to make their own threads and then linking to the original news item. This appears to be an idea the moderators came up with which allows the news item to remain intact in the "news forum" while we hash it out in the "General forum".

Ah, I have now read that discussion at it all makes sense. I was not really aware that you could not reply in the news forum. I suppose that is the best solution, although it does clutter up the "view new posts" search.

I expect this is in response to a few of us mentioning that we'd like to be able to comment on a news item. On this thread (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5683) , a few of us had inquired about being able to comment on a news item, and AVP had responded with a few alternate ways of handling it.
Either a decision has been made as to how they want to handle it or this is just a trial run.
Ghoulish Delight -- please refer to our official announcement (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?threadid=6060) in this forum.

Yeah, I caught that. I've got it all straightened out now. I just stopped following the original discussion about the News forum. But I'm all caught up now.

Hey Ghoulish Delight, might I suggest you read the original discussion and Lani's announcement? You might have also noticed the mailer we sent everybody, at great expense. We used Disney's AP mailing list, though, so you should receive that notification by Christmas.

What about the newspaper and radio ads? When can we expect to see/hear those?
