I hope this is the right place to post this...

I thought it might be fun to get a group of MP moms and/or dads and plan a trip to Disneyland. Something quick and easy... Maybe sometime in October. Maybe during the week... Maybe a weekend... Kinda like those Mommy and Me Movies... this would be Mommy and Me Mickey

Who better to understand... that yes we have been in line for 30 minutes but...

The baby must nurse now
The baby is having a meltdown
The 5 year old is having a meltdown
The 5 year old has to go potty
The 3 year old had an accident in line

(No these are not all my children. DD is 6 months. I can however guarantee the first two. Now if that doesn't make you wanna join us... well I don't know what will)


Ya get the gist. Thought it might be fun for some local moms (you don't have to be local) to do a quicky trip down for maybe a few hours... I'm about an hour away... And I'd like to be home by dinner.

Potentially. It depends when it is.

work and travel makes September impossible. I thikn a week day would be easier... crowd wise than a weekend. Although I understand that might make it harder for some.

I guess we'll see who's interested and see what works for them.

That sounds fun, but I doubt I could make it. I am in WA State.
I did this with some ladies from my mommy board I have been on since being PG with my first, in 2001. There was, 9 babies, all had just turned 1, or were turning 1 during the trip, and we met at DLR in 2002. It was a lot of fun.

I might be interested, also depending on when it is.

We plan on going alot in Oct to see all the new Halloween stuff. We'd love to meet up if the dates work out.

I just got back from Disneyland and I really think Sunday would be a great day. It took us 35 minutes from Westwood to the resort. We left at 8:50 and got there at 9:25. We left at 3:50 and got home at 5.

So traffic wise it was a dream and the crowds were soooo light. On Pirates in 15 minutes.

Which leads me to... October 8 or 15.

I think this trip will be alot of fun!:D

Ok, not to be a party pooper, but...

October 8 will be the CHOC walk, and October 15 is the weekend of Utah's fall break, so those two particular weekends might not be as uncrowded as yesterday was. Especially the 8th.

Yeah, our DD is great too...definite motivation to try for #2! I had to take DD when I was 37 weeks, just to get in our last DL trip before the new baby. That was interesting...me waddling around trying to keep up with her!

How long is this meet going to be? Why don't we make a plan to check back at the partners statue at noon for any late-comers? I'm mainly asking because from the Valley, it's likely going to take me a while to get there and I don't know if I can make it by 10 am myself. We can still keep the 10 am time, but anyone who is left can meet back up at noon at the statue and see if any late-comers came in.

Ava, Eric (dad) and I will be at the partners statue at 9:30. We will hang there till about 10 - 10:15.

There might be moms who ran into traffic... Hey I might be one of them... So maybe we shoud say meet up at the Partners statue again at noon? ( thank you dsnyredhead for the great suggestion)!

Shoot. I just realized I have another scheduled event on this date. Well I'll have to try again if we do this again in a few months. Oh well, better luck next time. Certainly don't reschedule it for me. We'll just have to do it again at another time.

We will obviously be there with 7 month old and dad.

Monday is Columbus Day... Many of you might already know this... My brilliant plan to take advantage of no crowds on a weekday... Well I'm guessing it'll be alot more packed than let's say next Monday.
