We're going on a last minute trip to Disneyland on Labor Day week (Labor Day and the few days afterward.) I have a 1.5 and 3.5 year old. Anyone know what lines are like for the little kid rides, esp in CA Adventure park? They like those rides best. Most of the character rides in Disneyland are still too loud and scary for them, but they love CA Adv. They aren't very good at waiting a long time.
Long lines these days?
We'd love any recommendations . . .

During the time you are there, I suspect that most of the rides in DCA should be pretty much walk-ons. You might run into some crowds on Labor Day, but even then I suspect Monsters, Inc. is the only toddler-friendly ride that is apt to have much of a wait.

I know that school doesn't start for most of us here in SoCal until Sept 7th so Tues and Wed might still have some last minutes kids there. We went to DCA yesterday though and walked onto Monsters Inc and all the Flik rides.
Labor Day will probably be crowded but the other days should be good.

We went in Feb., April and August with my 2 year old and each time the lines were very short and easy for her to handle -and she is not a big fan of standing still!!! I think it will be a very nice week for you all to go. Have a great time!

Honestly, the only thing we had to wait in line for at DCA was Playhouse Disney (which was totally worth it for our almost-two-year-old). AND this was in June! A Bugs Land was great - he had a lot of fun "driving" the cars with Mom and Dad at Tuck and Rolls Bumper Cars. The one thing we did over and over and over was Posidens' Carousel. NO LINE AT ALL! It was dinner time and the park seemed to empty out - really weird. Now, ever time we see a carousel anywhere, my son has to go! Going to DCA for the second half of the day was great - not many crowds, we got to see the Block Party Bash (which he LOVED and still talks about four months later!!!!) I think he would have loved the Monsters Inc. ride, but he was alseep, so I went and left him with Dad. The line there was a little long, but it was pretty new at the time. He also really enjoyed the Electric Light Parade.
OH! And big tip about leaving DCA after the parade. If you are staying at one of the hotels, leave from the exit across from Grizzly River Run . . . we got out so much faster that way!
