I just got an IPod and boy what a difference it makes to have music to work out to!

So, what songs get you really moving?

Some of my favorites:
"Life is a highway"-Rascal Flatts
"I can't drive 55"-Sammy Hagar
"Soak up the sun"-Sheryl Crow
"Fighter"-Christina Aguilera
"Want you more"-Duran Duran
"Reach up for the Sunrise"-Duran Duran

I'm ashamed to post after stan4d_steph's excellent list. My taste in workout music is really bad.

"Doncha" - Pussycat Dolls
"SOS" - Rihanna
"Promiscuous" - Nelly Furtado
etc. Cheerleader-type stuff, eh?

My all-time favorite is "Love Shack" - B52's

I'm really into metal and rock so any bands like Clutch, Lamb of God, Slayer, Children of Bodom, Anthrax, and Armored Saint are good. Fast music makes me feel like I have more energy.

Prince's Purple Rain is a great CD for work outs. Yes, I was a teen in the 80's. :)

Because I am a child of the 70's and 80's, I get a kick out of some old disco and classic rock......

Shake Your Booty - KC and the Sunshine Band (it's so silly you have to smile!)
Another One Bites the Dust - Queen
Don't Stop Me Now - Queen (my #1 pick for motivation!! - get it from Limewire and see for yourself)
Born to Run - Bruce Springsteen
Rosalita - Bruce
Fortunate Son - Creedance Clearwater Revivial
Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison
Paint it Black - Rolling Stones
You Can't Always Get What You Want - Rolling Stones

Because I love all of today's music.....

Hitchin a Ride - Green Day
(really anything by Green Day...)
Salvation Army - White Stripes
Lose Control - Missy Elliot
1,2 Step - Ciara, Missy

And any "Girl Power" songs by Gwen Stefani, Christina Aquilera and Madonna!

Check this out - www.championo2cool.com - they've got playlists set up by professional trainers, and you can search on lists submitted by members for different excercise types. Would ya'll mind downloading your playlists there since you have lots of good ideas! Thanks.
