I was just wondering what the difference between these two ships is. Do they cruise to different places? Is one nicer/bigger than the other? BTW, thank you for all the feedback and advice you gave in my other posts. You've all been a lot of help :)

Wonder does the 3 & 4 day trips; Magic does the 7 day ones
The decor is slightly different on the two.
The adult area on Magic is Beat Street; on the Wonder it is route 66
The Wonder has Triton's dining room; the Magic has Lumiere's.
They are both really nice, although I give a slight edge to the Magic...

The Magic currently has:
The Dumbo-tron (Big screen on deck 9)
Expanded spa, including couples suites and larger workout area
Kids ship's bridge simulator

All of these are scheduled to be added to the Wonder during its next dry dock, but that is a few months out still.

momrail_rider has an excellent comparison.

There have been some slight modifications to the ships.

ESPN Skybox no longer exists, it has been converted to a teen club on both ships. It is either The Stack or The Loft depending on the ship.

The new sports loungs is located on Deck 3 Foreward and is called Diversions.

As to one ship being bigger then the other, no, they are exactly the same size. The Disney Wonder sails three and four day trips to Castaway Cay (pronounced Key) and the Bahamas (Nassau and on some 4 days cruises Freeport). The Disney Magic sails the 7 day Western and Eastern Caribbean as well as the special cruises like the upcoming 10 & 11 day cruises as well as the European cruises next summer.

Yeah. For the Magic to be the first (aka Mother) ship. she sure never stays home.

After the "Disney Wonder" went into dry dock at the end of September or the beginning of October of this year, it was suppose to receive the same enhancements that the "Disney Magic" received.

A Dumbo-tron (Big Screen on deck 9)
An expanded spa, including couples suites and a larger workout area.
And a kid ship's bridge simulator.

As of the members cruise in late Oct. the Dumbo-tron was installed, but the spa enlargment was ongoing. literally ongoing while we were on the cruise.

one minor thing I didn't notice here, although it may have been mentioned in monorail_rider's excellant link (didn't have time to read it all so I will have to come back) was the wondere has larger oval shapped openings on the navagators staterooms.
