We were planning to go to Legoland with our kids this Oct. and I just found out that my youngest, she'll be 23 months then, will only be able to ride 3 of the rides. My 4 y.o. (Nick) will be able to ride most of them. We'll have 4 adults and 2 kids, so there's no problem with Nick having an adult to ride with him. I'm worried about Katie getting upset that he's going on a ride and she can't. And being a typical 2nd child she wants to do EVERYTHING he does.

Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions on how to deal with this? Should we still go, or wait until she can ride too?

Thanks!

Do I assume she's under 34"?

Yup, 33 inches with shoes as of a few weeks ago. I don't see her growing a whole inch in the next 8 weeks.

Boy, this is tough. I've always said the park is perfect for 3 to 9 year olds. By 3, or even 2 1/2 if they reach that 34" mark. But there still might be enough to do. There are two playground areas and also the new kiddie water park area in the new pirate section. The Fairy Boat is one of my favorite things--very gentle and relaxing.

I do note that the Legoland site seems to pad the things to do, so don't just rely on it.

When is her nap time? You might get to the park at opening 10am and do all the things she can do and then take her back to the hotel for a nap. Anyway the park's only open for 7 hours in Oct.

Thanks for the info the Old Man (I feel so rude writing that - ;) :D) . She does still nap during the day so maybe I'll go back to the hotel with her and everyone else can stay and ride the rides and we can go back for the late afternoon/dinner.
