Didn't see a post for this topic here, but wanted to tell everyone that I think this event (although way different then DIsney) is extremely worthwhile;
1. If you love haunted houses, and
2. If you are AT LEAST a teenager!
This year the rumor mill says that Universal will be bringing back (read re-creating) eight (8) of their fan favorite haunted houses from the past to celebrate their "Sweet Sixteenth!"
Its a long night, but studio grade haunted houses, and shows filled with crass humor make it a great ("hip") time. Yeesh, is hip still a word? If your kids are getting to be that awkward age where they are both a bit "too old" and a bit too young to truly enjoy Disney, this is a great night out for your family! Just don't take any youngsters!
Excellent informational sites:

We'll be there for our 11th time this year if all goes well! We love Disney, but this event is much more just for ME! Thanks Kath! :)
