Hey just start off this is fine with me but they also I feel need to support HD-DVD not just one. This will be the VHS vs Beta-Max and till atleast next year nobody know who's going to win. Does anybodt know how to get a e-mail to Bob Chapek, Buena Vista Home Entertainment president?

I don't think an e-mail to Bob will do a whole heck of a lot. Disney and the other media providers have put years of effort into these competing standards, and have come out on the sides they feel are best for their competitive position. It's not like you're the first person to point out the Beta vs. VHS analogy. But if it makes you feel better to write, then I guess go ahead and do so!

Don't worry. They'll eventually release movies on HD-DVD as well. They're just opening with Blu-Ray to help push the format. If HD-DVD becomes a good seller and people are looking for content, Disney will be there, as well.

Agreed... After all, I dont think that Disney would miss out on sales because of a format difference.

Besides, I think we have a long way before we see if the two formats will really be hard hitting competitors.

/slightly off-topic derail....
My 2 cents is that I would bet within a few years you see players that play all the formats... DVD/HD-DVD/Blu-Ray, as well as CD's, etc, from the same player. It would not be all that hard to do and that would remove the VHS v. Beta analogy from popping up.

But who knows...
