View Full Version : Large and small font sizes
You may have noticed while composing a message in MousePad, that you are now limited to three font sizes: regular, larger, and small.
Although some of you may be able to figure out how to override this manually, this was an administrative decision, and we ask that you respect that. Extremely large fonts (anything above a size 3) tends to become distracting when having to view over and over again in a thread, and we had had complaints about this before.
Posts with extremely huge font sizes will be reduced to the standard large size (size = 3).

Thank you lani (and other Admins)! That huge font got a bit on my nerves, even though it was fun for B-day threads. :)
cstephens 05-01-2002, 05:37 PM Is this just on a go-forward basis, or will posts that had huge sizes on them be revised? I just read a thread and was assaulted by two huge-font posts. Owwww.

C -- I fixed one that I saw. When I come across the other one I'll fix that one too.
I will not however, go back through the archive to fix all of them. I'll do them as they show up.
out of curiousity, how large can you get? I assume that if I try here no one will get mad....

well, I managed a size 8. and yes, that is annoying and would take away from the actual thread.

But otherwise, it is distracting, but I have a feeling this was brought on by me when I accidentally had a problem with my signature, and it ended turning out much biffer than I anticipated. Oops!
