For some reason a cast member was motoring around Tom Sawyer's island in one of the rafts following the Mark Twain, I have never seen one of these rafts stop at the Mark Twain boarding area before:

the main street station is like the prettiest thing besides sleeping beauty's castle i would be sad to walk in on my first day and not see it. :(

The paint on the front of the Main Street train station is peeling off the side of the building and looks very bad, the sun really cooks off the paint during the summer. It appears that all the railroad stations will be repainted in the coming weeks, so you might luck out and find a freshly repainted Main Street railroad station when you arrive at Disneyland.

One of the exterior light fixtures on the side of the Haunted Mansion has been missing since at least 2004, I think some kid tried to do a pull up on the light fixture and destroyed it. I noticed today that a new expensive fixture has now gone up where the tacky hole in the wall used to be. I am very glad to see Disneyland fixing up items that been vandalized and missing for several years:

The Peter Pan clock tower has had its clock removed, a hole now exists where the clock hands used to be:

Hi everybody...

Well I had a chance to visit Disneyland last friday when I went to a scrapbooking mini convention at the PPH. During the visit I took some photos and video of the work that is happening on Tom Sawyers Island...I was surprised to hear the loud noises and see the workers in their hardhats riding back and forth to the island on the rafts (and couldn't help but laugh as I heard the comment "well, I guess those things aren't on tracks after all!") and since work is usually behind construction walls thought it was an intresting sight and that you might be intrested in seeing this too. I am not sure what part of the island this work is happening on but saw many workers carrying white bags (cement maybe??) into the caves.. ENJOY!!
