I'm part of the Sac State Marching Band, who paraded down main street, played in front of the castle, then paraded out to it's a small world around 1:00 or so. I noticed a lot of people were taking pictures of us while we were parading and when we performed. I was wondering if anyone who reads this forum had any pictures of us performing that day. If you do could you upload them on here or another page, or let me know and I can give you my E-mail adress to send them to.

thanks!:)

Was it on the 11th last year? I wonder if they recycled the sign.

Drove by the DLR today after going to Knott's for the afternoon.... Pulled into the 15 minute parking due to the fact the started to repaint the Pedistrian entrance to the DLR, even though they just repainted it a few months ago...

Looks like they will match the color scheme of the Timon Entrance...

I saw your band marching down Main Street, but I didn't take any pictures. As a former college marching band member who also performed at Disneyland, it brought back lots of great memories. Hope you had a great time, and I hope somebody has some pictures for you!

Thanks, I had fun yesterday seeing what was going on inside of the Submarine Lagoon.
Here is a photo I forgot to include yesterday, the high resolution photo of this is awesome:

I will take more photos this week, I have an interesting idea for a photo shoot at Disneyland, and a friend coming into town who just got back from Iraq. I spoke with my contacts at Disneyland and there is a very good chance he will be doing the Flag Retreat Ceremony one day this week, he will be doing the ceremony in full uniform, taking down the flag. My friend is supposed to call DLR Security when we arrive in the afternoon, and they will take him backstage to plan the ceremony. So I should have more great photos coming this week.

First of all, thank you! thank you! thank you! for those terrific pix of NO Square's decorations! I am so thrilled because I have always wanted to do my house in a NOS Christmas theme and now, because of you, I can copy exactly! You just MADE my weekend! HUGS!

And then.. boy! did I get chills and teary at the thought of your friend and the Flag Retreat Ceremony. My husband - a retired Marine - and I just love that ceremony! We always stand proudly and sing the national anthem with the band. I can hardly wait until we get to see the pix. Thank you for setting this up!

Thank you for the comments on last month’s video. Honestly, they were helpful.

I’ve just posted the video for this month. I hope to do regularly updates to capture changes and improvements to the parks, as well as to explore the park’s history and development.

The November 2006 Update includes:

• Some really good footage of the construction over in the sub lagoon. Also, using Lexus-Nexus, I pulled up every published newspaper and magazine article about the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. There are about a half-dozen articles that include long interviews with members of WDI, such as show designers, who discuss the specifics of this new ride. From these articles—and from the official press releases—I’ve pulled together a very specific description of the storyline for the new ride. I also have information on individual scenes. It’s all on the video.

• Construction video of the Matterhorn (refurb), Midway Madness, and Monorail Station.

• A walk-through of the new Vault 28 store in Downtown Disney

• And lastly, views of the park as it prepares itself for the holiday season.

Enjoy. Please drop me some comments below.

This is the first of your updates that I have had the pleasure of seeing. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I thought it was great! Is that your voice doing the narrating? I LOVED the Finding Nemo ride update. I think I'll be staying away from Vault 28 though, lol. I bit too rich for my blood!

nice update - but I don't think it's correct to say that McDonald's food will only be around for a very short time. None of that was officially stated. The only things that were stated were
1) replacing fries and soda with fruit and milk
2) no more trans-fats in foods

and, all shift timetables are governed by existing contractual obligations.

so - if McDonalds shifts to non-trans-fats frying - they are in the clear.

it was stated in the announcement - here (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=61899)- that fries will still be allowed to be substituted for the healthy stuff.

Enjoyed your second video update! One comment: the volume for this update seemed low. It could be my connection or PC as I had to raise the volume to maximum.

They are using the original subs.

They have been totally refurbed, two additional seats added per sub, a switch from Diesel to Electric motors, and a new "bubble" on top of the subs for the operator, including all new controls.

Also a new audio system has been installed.

Some of my prior albums showed the work in progress, as they did most of the work right in the lagoon (the loading area section).
