Here is a compilation of most of the Pictures taken at night time during our last trip in November 2008 of Disneyland at NIGHT! I was thinking of sorting them by land, but just kept them in date order...
I enjoy being in the park at night as well as taking the pictures as I feel they really capture the MAGIC FEELING of being in the Park at Night during the Holidays.

:eek:500+ pictures:D at least everyone else will be warned....;)

What great shots!! I am totally night picture challenged! I don't stop trying but end up deleting all of them. I'm just glad there are pros like you.

Thanks, but I am no Pro, just someone with a Tripod and cable release and DSLR learning to take pictures.

The crowds yesterday were a little larger than I expected but still very low. Most attractions had about a 15-20 minute wait.

Here's a clip from our most recent trip (early November of 2008). We were excited because the Christmas decorations were going up and we were able to get a photo in front of the Christmas tree on Main Street (which became part of our Christmas card). We go back in 7 weeks and can't wait.

These images were taken on Monday 2-16-09. The park was pretty empty and they ended up closing the park 2 hours early due to the bad weather.

The story behind these images is that my wife was shooting that night and she ended up taking the D3 with the 24-70mm lens, so I got stuck with the D700 and the 70-200mm lens. Trying to shoot fireworks with a 70-200mm lens is darn near impossible, but I think that I made the best of the situation. Let me know what you think. Images are posted at:

Anyways, I absolutely love your work. Seeing the fireworks with the mark twain is absolutely magical.

On a slightly different topic, I highly recommend people to watch the fireworks from the marktwain at some point. Bring some noise isolating or canceling headphones, buy the music track to the fireworks, and sync it all up and you'll find yourself to have a magical experience.
