Hi Everyone! Here's the latest from the Great Wide Land of Disney.

Crowds weren't as bad as I was expecting considering it was a WEEKEND in the SUMMER. Monday, was actually more crowded than Sunday, that surprised me! I suppose it's because the So Cal AP folks were allowed back in after the weeks of blackout days.

No, actually, it is THIS Upcoming Sunday, August 20th that offers the return of the SoCal AP's, not last weekend.

And with the return of the SoCal's, plus the Bats Day event, this Sunday should be BUSY!

Thanks for the new pix, Darkbeer. That's interesting news about the new Autopia store. I think that's a better location for it to begin with. Now about what to finally do with all that prime real estate over it... ;)

I have some new albums up, three from Sunday, and one from Monday.

First off, the traditional stuff, such as the Sub Lagoon photos (the last ones until late December due to construction)

Also, the Mad Hatter in Fantasyland is closed for remodeling and installation of the Computerized Embroidering Machines, it should reopen in October.

Then an album from Monday looking at the Refurb Walls around the Sub Lagoon, and the changes to the Autopia attraction.

Autopia's exit ramp is closed, and the Entrance ramp has been converted to two-way traffic (Entrance and Exit), and due to this, Fastpass has been discontinued during the construction work.

Let me also give folks a heads up, the Cove Bar at DCA is returning to weekend only operation after this Sunday (8/27). Friday from 2:30 to 8 PM, Saturday and Sundays Noon to 8PM (or one hour prior to park closing, the park closes early many days in October due to the Halloween events), also the Bar will open on Labor Day and other holidays.

And Yamibuki's return is now listed as September 26th in the CM Reference Guide

Finally finished resizing and editing (never underestimate editing) the photos from our recent trip to DL, Catalina and the SD Zoo. In addition to previously posted pics from a Monsters Inc. evac, there are some of Billy Hill & the HillBillys, Mark Twain Wheelhouse, Splash Mtn., the opening day model, parade and more; plus fun with flash on the Sun Wheel and the panoramic function on TSI. If you've ever wanted to see a Koala, fiddle player with the bow up his nose, or a 10 year old scuba diving, these are the ones for you. Use the "slide show" button for easiest viewing. Hope ya like.

A few photos from today, the turkey has died, he expired a few weeks ago, incase anyone was wondering why he's gone. There was lots of construction going on inside of the Matterhorn, I took a photo of construction workers inside of the mountain. I will make sure I get photos of the monorail station demo, I know two managers at Disneyland who will let me know when it's about to come down. The ride wait time today was 5 min., Space Mountain was walk on at 4pm, so I had a great afternoon at the park today.

The "formally known as" Holiday Inn Anaheim at the Park is now known as the "Casa Resort Anaheim"...

Info on the Road Closures due to the Half-Marathon next weekend is posted...

Lots of Refurb Walls...

The Stroller and Wheelchair Tents have been removed from the Main Entry Plaza, and the rentals are back at each of the park entrances.....

The Adventureland "Entrance" boardwalk has been replaced...

It is east of the resort, Disney Way on the North, Katella on the south.

If you know where the original Auto entrance to Disneyland was, it is just across the street from it.
