Darkbeer - what's going on with your awesome photos? I've been anxiously awaiting your October photos and they don't seem to be on smugmug. Everything okay??

My wife and I got some pictures at the Mickey's Halloween Treat tonight. We left a bit early since it started to rain a bit. Not all of my pictures are that great but I know some of you really want to see them. I'm uploading them now and should be done in a few hours (if not before).

Enjoy!

The October 7th photos have been giving me issues, but they should show up sooner or later, though most of them are from an event, and not my typical construction/changes stuff...

But I did get a lot of photos yesterday, and they are up and ready :)

Photos from Friday, October 12th.

The change in signage, now showing the former Radisson as the "Anaheim Maingate Hotel" while the new owners, Red Lion Group starts to renovate the hotel.

One of the Coach USA buses has a Knott's Haunt wrap

A look at the progress of the Anaheim GardenWalk, the biggest change, the Bubba Gump signage is up.

Maybe one of the last looks at the Timon lot before changes start.

A look at the Simba lot, which was being used on Friday for Theme Park parking (along with Pummba and Timon).

Progress on the Grand Californian Hotel expansion, basically building a basement for parking

Toy Story Mania! Progress

"PUSH" having fun with the Villians at Golden Screams

The new signage for the major changes in the A.R.T. system

And much more...

Indiana Jones is still closed due to the major "101" issue that has kept it closed for a few days already

Found one of the Disneyland Cats at the Hub, looking for a snack

Innoventions is still not spinning, and the Pioneer section upstairs has been removed and is just a big empty space, pretty bad show, as it is the first thing you see when you get to the top of the stairs.

A look at "it's a small world"

Storybook Land and Casey Jr. have reopened, nice job on the touch up

A family of mice next to the Casey Jr. entrance (real ones)

Of course, some Ducks

And then Mickey and Donald in costume.

Enjoy!:fez:

I envy all of you guys when I tried to see some of your photos from photobucket. I actually registered an acoount also for myself but the sd thing is I have no Disney photos to post there as I have never been to Disney at this age.

My country is far away from the Disney Theme Park plus we don't have th efinance to take us to the place but maybe next year will be better and we could make some plans and make them true. Who knows?

WOW, I scored 1.2 million points on Buzz Lightyear.

Yes, there was a rather convenient ride stop, but it was my Birthday

Lovely pictures! This is the first I have heard of the "Disneyland cats." I will have to keep a look out for them next time I am there--but I assume they mostly come out when things are quieter? Any estimate as to how many there are?

I got to see a couple back in April.

One was hunched over by Winnie the Pooh watching the ducks and baby ducks.

Another was in Storybook land laying in the grass by 7 dwarfs mine orange/yellow and white tabby. I tried to get a pic but the boat was going too fast, would have been great to see a GIANT cat by those houses, but I did get a couple pics of those GIANT ducks by Gepetto's toy shop...:fez::eek:

until I checked out darkbeer's pictures I had no idea there were that many Disneyland Cats, my son & I are looking forward to seeing more in December..

Enjoy!

I'm not sure I've seen anybody take this picture. I really like shooting pyrotechnics with my camera and I also shoot display fireworks. (I personally thing that the Believe fireworks show is about the best I've ever seen.) At exactly 1 min 30 sec after the first pyro is shot, right after Julie Andrews speaks for a 2nd time, they shoot a Mickey in the sky. It's great!

But - what if I shoot it with the castle *and* the statue in the middle of the square, all in the same shot? No compositing, just framed right out of the camera? Here's what I got....

I don't like how the flash caught the statue, so I'm going to try it again this Friday. If you see a guy with a camera on a tripod looking at the statue, come on by and say Hi!

Lots of other pyro shots in this collection. The weather that night was somewhat overcast, and with a full moon it made for some unexpectedly great Matterhorn shots. Hope you enjoy'em!

Hi Guys I am going to try this picture sharing thing out. We purchased a new camera before we left and are still getting the hang of the new program. The pictures skip around a bunch because of the way we uploaded them during the day. (Sorry about the random order) I am posting a link to a photobuck page. Hopefully it will let everybody view the shots. I have a lot to share but I didn't want to go over board if it didn't work. Please let me know if you can see them from this link. Thanks

Wonderful pictures. Some day my pictures will be as good as yours. :p

Only one small, minor thing. The fireworks are not called Believe anymore, it is not called "Remember... Dreams Come True" Fireworks Spectacular, presented by Honda. *Not wanting to offend, just being picky*

It appears it is working fine and I added some pics. A couple are from the sunday during the Santa Ana winds and the fires. A lot of dust there that night. Everybody needed to flush their eyes because of the dust.
