darkbeer,
On the pictures you took of the wedding party, I'm curious.....How come they will only do a Japanese wedding during park hours???? Also I'm curious when you took those wedding pictures???

I am not sure why the policy is there, I just know that it has been the rule for years, if not decades.
The wedding was around 11:30 AM on a Sunday.

I think the first song choice was a little off. But the fact that there was almost no pause in the fireworks made it awesome. Really exciting stuff.

Here are some pictures from the last time I went (A week ago) before my SoCal AP is blocked out till Aug 19. I didn't get on too many rides but got to see Fantasmic and ride on the BTMRR during the fireworks (A MUST DO FOR EVERYONE)
Also there are some castle pictures at night.
The night was very crowded but after the fireworks we went on Splash 2x (15-20min wait) and rode BTMRR 3x (2 min wait) and did POTC (5min). Nemo was over an hour and we did not want to wait.
I am trying out this new software that my friend gave me that allows you make online photoalbums. If anyone wants one made like mine, email me your pictures and I will be happy to help a fellow Mousepadder out!
Anyways here are my pics.... www.adventurewithjames.com/trips/disneyland

The link below in the signature block works. Looks like his photos are in the main directory and not the /trips directory:

works fine.

After a brief scare due to an equipment malfunction, I was able to retrieve the video from our June 26th to 29th trip to Disneyland. This video captures footage from our departure at the airport, waiting for the surprise limo (but I didn't get the limo actually driving up :( There is footage from inside the limo and then I do get the reaction when they realize we're actually going to the Grand Californian and not the Best Western Park Place Inn as they all thought. My daughter's reaction is the best.. try to catch the look on her face.
After that we've got some brief footage from our breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe, the Soarin' queue and then some time at the Cove Bar in DCA. And that's all there is.
The youngest of our party was 15 and while there isn't anything bad on there, I'd probably rate this video PG or PG-13 due to very brief language and my daughter's fiance's immaturity.. but I digress.
The video is 15:37 minutes long
The Grand Californian surprise hits at about 11:30 into it.
It is a large format WMV 9.0 file, 318 Mb
If you have 15 minutes to waste on the internet then here's the link:

I have made another video for our own DVD which I've added a pictomuvee of our photographs to the end of it, set to music.
I have uploaded that portion separately online. It is set to the "Believe" fireworks show music soundtrack. If you want to see this pictomuvee, here's the link to that:
http://www.thompent.com/familyvideo/dlr2007pictomuvee.wmv
(269 Mb, about 10:44 minutes)
Note - this pictomuvee is still uploading as of the time of this post. Should be completely uploaded by 8:00am pacific time today - 07/12/07.
Comments welcome.

A few pictures from the last two days. We have pictures of the Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Pirate's Lair at TSI, Autopia, Casey Jr, flowers and a few others throughout the land. Enjoy!

A few thoughts:
*My wife and I got into line for Nemo last night about 8:40 pm and were able to see the fireworks (not the best location to see everything) before getting onto the sub about 9:40 pm or so. We were told it would be about 90 minutes but it took about an hour. The best time to get into line is at night to avoid the heat and also to avoid the three hour line.
*My wife and I entered DL today just after opening (8:10 am). The park was fairly empty. We got to Peter and waited 5-7 minutes. We almost walked on rides for the next hour (which is common). The crowds stayed very low for the second hour while headed over to NOS, Adventureland and Critter Country. By the time we left about 10:30 am the crowds still hadn't gotten large enough to bother us. We did see the line to Nemo being at the 2 hour mark (at least) about 9:30 am or so.

A look at the closed Disney Gallery. Interesting the sign says they are installing a new exhibit, and that a couple of banners in NOS still advertise the location.
Short wait for Nemo (about 70 minutes) as most of the queue under the Monorail Tracks were not being used.
Tom Morrow at Innoventions still has his 50th Anniversary name tag on. Wonder who his supervisor is, since he should be written up for not wearing the "Where Dreams Come True" version ;)
Barges and lights have been placed in the Paradise Pier Lagoon to test features for the Wonderful World of Color show that is coming to DCA, more than likely in 2009.
Toy Story Mania! construction is moving along nicely
New signage has been placed on the refurb walls surrounding the construction advertising the new ride, I counted 5 different type of signs, though probably around 30 or more are actually on the walls.
The Cove Bar is closed until further notice due to a swarm of bees taking up residence
And more....

Below, on the cove bar post you said it "sounds like they have a bee problem. Here you say a "swarm of bees took up residence". How were you able to confirm this in 15 minutes on a saturday morning?
Being a retired Quality Engineer, I am curious how you came to this conclusion. Do you work for Disney?
