A thread about the Matterhorn brought up the issue of smooth vs. bumpy coasters. Which do you prefer? Feel free to vote with one word. Your vote will be used by Imagineers to determine fate of all future Disney rides. (Not.)

I'll start by voting. . . .SMOOTH!

I love huge hills, speed (100mph--yeah!), and even going upside down, but having my bones jerked around and having my ears slam the headrest (Indy Jones in Paris--OUCH!) is literally a pain. No thanks. Class action anyone?!
The Web site "themeparkreview" features a good video about coasters that hurt.

P.S. On second thought, maybe it was the Space Mountain in Paris that gave me Magic Mtn.-like ear abuse--I can't remember. But the Indy Jones ride in that park was the truly awful experience.

I like my Woodies rough, and my Steel coasters smooth....

I'm with you jcruise86! The bumpy rides give me a headache.

I have to agree with this in general. However, Cyclone at Magic Mountain has to be one of the worst woodies of all time. It is so jerky and bad that you cannot wait for the ride to end as soon as you get going on the first hill. I'm not kidding, Cyclone is very painful.

I like the bumpy rides, as long as I have a bit of cushion, or I can brace myself really well.

Wow, hard choice because I like both but if I had to choose one I would say smooth. Fast and smooth! :D
