We got a thing via email to get in with our APs on the regularly blosked out July 1-4. We went after work and arrived around 4. It was crazy! The lines were so long. 60 minutes for the tram, 75 for Jurassic Park and 50 for Mummy. There were people everywhere!
One thing I will say, the employees there were awesome. They were all so nice and helpful, working their butts off to keep things going. We did single rider on Mummy and I can't even tell you how efficient those people were! Kudos to them!
I am assuming it was because of the holiday and the deal. We still had fun!

Well, guess Monday was the day everyone chose to go to USH. Yesterday, was totally not crowded. We waited maybe 10 minutes for Mummy, 15 for Back to the future and walked right onto the Studio Tour. The longest wait we had was for food. We made the mistake of eating at the Jurassic Cafe which is the primary food area for the lower lot. We waited 30 minutes for food. The problem wasn't the food service people. The problem was the guests who waited until they got to the food area to choose what they wanted to eat. Those people need a swift kick.:~D

Man this is so so true. I just don't get these people. It's like they feel like they need to take their time ordering to get their money's worth.

Maybe they're onto something. ;)
The one thing I always seem to take from Universal is the impression (whether it's accurate or not) that the food is very expensive. Last time we went, we made a point of eating on the Citywalk (Buca di Beppo, I think) because on our previous visit to California/Universal, we were aghast at the prices.

Definitely agree on this one! I've been to USH twice this month, and the employees I encountered were terrific both times on very busy and hot days.. They were courteous and helpful. A poor guy at guest relations was getting yelled at for something not his fault, then it was my turn to ask to feed my dog - and he was so nice about it.. I think his name was Ken? How do I give "guest compliment" over at USH? :)
