Flying out to DL this Saturday. Wont actually hit the park until Monday though.

Me, my wife, 9yr old, 3yr old, and 9 month infant.

I think i understand the general FP strategy of getting passes, either every 2 hours or when the next time starts.

My question - since my wife and i will be switching off, and the 3yr old might not clear the 40" requirement - we have the potential to have an extra fastpass here. In switching off, are all 3 (me, wife, 9yr old) required to use a fastpass or do you just need 2 per group?

Are there any other advantages that i can use here with the 3yr olds ticket in gaining FP's? The goal here is to keep our waiting time down, since we have the 9month old.

Thanks!

Nevermind..ran across this thread (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=55060&highlight=fastpass) which appears to answer my questions, unless anyone else has something to add :)

We did the fastpass and baby swap. You are allowed 2 people per ticket for the baby swap. What we did was half of us got a fastpass and the other half stayed with the baby and told the CM giving out the baby swap ticket how many will be waiting to go after the others came back. We had 8 people who went. So it would be 4 or more and then the rest stayed behind.

So you could probably do 2 fastpass for one ride and have 2 stay behind.

Then you can get a fastpass for another ride with the other 2. Exp. get 2 fastpasses for Splash Mountain and and 2 fastpass for Indy and do the baby swap.

I hope this made sense.
