Hello- We will be heading to the happiest place on earth in September with my 4 year old and 2 1/2 year old. Here is my question: I know I don't need a ticket for my 2 1/2 year old son, but he is a big kid and most people think he is 3 or over. Will I need a copy of his birth certificate or immunization records to prove that he is not 3 and therefore not in need of a ticket? Does anyone know how this works?
Thanks a bunch!:)

We have gone right before two of our kids 3rd birthdays and they are both very big for their ages. We were never questioned. Never a second glance. I think you will be fine with out it. Have a great time!

It wouldn't hurt to make a copy of the birth certificate, just in case. But whenever I've been questioned (as my kids were just about to turn, they said "Ok, this time". I got it both times. I'd feel better having the proof if they asked.
Have fun!

I'm with Bob, just having a copy (never travel with an original) would make 'me' feel better if someone were to ask, you could very nicely say well he's 2 1/2, here is his b/c and before you even reach for your bag they're going to go have a wonderful day....

When my DD was 23 months old I was asked for her ticket I told them she was not even two yet, they never asked for proof. And she is very tall for her age.

When my best friends daughter was 2 she was asked for a ticket all the time. She was 44 inches tall at two years of age. We were happy when she was three and bought her a pass so we did not have to deal with the questions anymore. They never asked for anything because when they asked her how old she was she did not even respond or just mumbled non sense because she was not talking a lot yet and they realized how young she was.
She is now 7 1/2 and is as tall as my 11 year old. But my DD is small for her age so there is a big contrast. She could not go on the 40 inch rides until she was a little over 5 years of age.
I would not stress about it you are being honest your child is two and I really don't think it will be an issue.
