Has anybody played the new pirate game for VMK? Not the one inside VMK, but the promotional game that lets you win codes for VMK items, similar to the Narnia game.

I just played with my daughter; man, that is a tedious thing! It takes what seems like forever to display a scene, blurs it, then refocuses it before you can search for an item inside. Once you've found the item or items in that scene, you move on to the next one. I found it so slow-moving and boring! A shame, because I expected it to be fun!

Ah, well...anybody tried it? Am I missing something? (Am I just cranky tonight? LOL) :rolleyes:

Could you post a link please? I could always use new VMK stuff.

I'm so stuck on this! I can find all the plunder apart from Davy Jones' Key!

I agree though, that it could be a bit faster like the online Narnia game. I really want a Jack Sparrow outfit!

My son loves this because he is totally into the whole pirate thing, and wants all that free stuff!

There is a trick to getting extra codes so you only have to play the game once. I have about 12 chests, 14 monkeys, 8 piano things, and 10 posters, but no pirate costume yet.

Once you play the game once get your VMK code. Then click the ship wheel on the right bottom corner. Then it will take you back a screen and click on the treasure chest on the bottom center of the screen. It will bring you back to the screen where it give you the free stuff. Just click on the VMK code option and get a brand new code. Makes everything much easier but hurry up because they might change it.

No problem. Has anyone gotten the pirate outfit yet? I wonder what the odds of getting one are? I still have never won the narnia teleporters either. I need to play these games more often.:D

Got everything a few times, no Jack costume though!

No Jack outfit here either! Played a bunch of times and have tons of everything else, but no outfit. We have a few different teleporters. We got a bunch from the monster inc. ride last time we were at disneyland.

After I would play the entire game I would get to the guy who guarded the gate and he would take all of my stuff and then ask for it again and wouldn't let me through! Stinkin' pirates!

my husband was off for a few days so what did he do play this game hopeing to get one of those costumes. he used both "tricks" to get codes one no longer works and it was really good to. and actually entered at least two hundres codes each of the three days he was off work he would not delete the messages so he knew how many he entered, a bit obsesseve. we still have not gotten one costume. but it was nice that the first night you could sell all the stuff for fifty credits each, only five now. grrr. it is kinda sad how much time he sat at the computer he wanted one for him one for me and one to trade. does not look like it will happen. will probably end up trading for it like I did for the narnia teleporters, could not win those either but I now have a room full of narnia stuff for trying to win it:D good luck to all who try for the outfit.

I thought I read that some Kellogg's cereals were going to have some special codes for VMK prizes and one of them was the outfit (I could be wrong). I know the promo starts in July. Yay! Tried it this morning; still works. Much better than going through that whooooooole slow sequence over and over. So far, my daughter is getting mostly organs - hasn't gotten the chest yet at all, nor the outfit. But at least Mom's not getting cranky...LOL.
