I'm just curious if anyone has used Pinocchio's Workshop (childrens activity center) at GCH. We are thinking of utilizing it so the two of us can spend an hour or two having adult time on our next trip.

So if anyone has gone there, what did your kids think? What did they do, etc.?

I haven't used them but a good friend has and she said her DD loved it. They will feed them dinner, for an additional fee, and they watch movies, tell stories, and do arts and crafts.

So what is it, I have never heard of it. Is it a babysitting service? Is it only for those staying at GCH?

It is available to anyone staying at any of the three Disney hotels. It does say that for those staying at DLH and PPH there is an additional fee. I'm planning on calling today to ask about rates and see if I can make a reservation. I was just curious about others experiences! :)

Thanks ADK, I was being horribly lazy. What a great idea. It would be nice if there was a place in the parks, for other guests. Even if it was an outrageous fee, I can guarantee parents would use it. Right by the Blue Bayou is my vote!

Thanks for the pictures Adrienne! Great article, thanks for writing and sharing it!

I called GCH today to inquire about the specifics. It is now $13 per hour. The article said that PPH and DLH guests could only make same day reservations. The CM that I talked to took my reservation today for next Thursday even though I am staying at PPH, so obviously that is allowed now. He also said that you can usually get in three days ahead of time.

I'm quite impressed that they do pictures of the kids and parents and give the parents pagers. Now I feel even better about taking him there!
