Lisa (Deogge's Mom) and I came up with this idea a few months ago, and it looks like things are on track for us to attempt this...

11 Roller Coasters, 11 Parks, One Day....

Right now, here is our plan...

Starting at park opening (10 AM) at Six Flags Magic Mountain (using our SP's), using our Flash Passes, ride either Tatsu, Viper or Goliath

Then straight to USH (AP's) and Revenge of the Mummy, parking in Jurassic.

Then off to the Santa Monica Pier (pay cash) and Pacific Park and West Coaster

Then to Knott's (AP's) and Silver Bullet or Xcelerator, maybe also do the Pacific Spin at Soak City if we can get to the front of the line. (That would make 12 parks)

Then Adventure City (pay cash) and Freeway Coaster.

Then Disneyland (AP's) and Space Mountain or BTMRR (back up in case one is 101)

And then DCA to Screamin' or Mulholland Madness

Next is LEGOLAND (buying AP's next week), thinking Coastersaurus or Technic since they are roller coasters instead of the RoboCoaster. This is a key point in the schedule, since the park closes at 7 PM.

And then the San Diego County Fair (aka Del Mar Fair) opens on June 10th, $1 admission and about $4.25 each to ride either the Hi Miler or the Crazy Mouse.

Then SeaWorld San Diego (AP's) and Journey to Atlantis (closes at 11 PM)

And then Belmont Park (pay cash), the Giant Dipper that closes at Midnight...

And of course, the Coaster Saloon after the rides are over...

So what are we looking for, well, access to close up parking to the locations, and Front of the Line passes will help. We would love to get it done in 11 hours, but think that is unlikely... (I have it at 13 hours)

What do we think will happen...

SFMM, get there around 9:30, leave around 10:30....

USH, arrive around 11, get out by Noon

Pacific Park, arrive around 12:45 (taking the 405 South (Carpool lanes) to the 10, leaving around 1:30

Knott's around 2:30 and out by 3:15

Adventure City, 3:30 to 4

Disney, 4:15 to 5:30 (Parking in DtD)

Legoland, 6:15 to 7 PM

Del Mar Fair, 7:30 to 9 PM

SeaWorld, 9:30 to 10:30 PM

Belmont Park, 11 PM, leaving an hour to spare.

So any help would be great, and should make a fun photo story/article.

Love to hear your comments about the two of us going crazy for a day... ;)

For USH, you said parking in Jurassic...is that the garage right by the entrance where valet is?

If not, I was going to suggest the valet there (or paying for preferred parking) but for one hour, valet is cheaper.

Sounds like a fun day!!!

DB, have you been to the doctor lately? Because you are CRAZY :)! Ok, that is just my opinion ;)! Haha... You better make a video of the ENTIRE day, or we will not believe you ;)!

My thoughts:
If LEGOLAND closes at 7:00 PM, they close the queues for the rides at 6:45 PM. Both Coastersaurus and Test Track Technic are close to the gate, but what is "Robocoaster"? Test Track is down pretty frequently, in case you are running behind schedule. The Dragon is a real coaster, but it is all the way at the back of the park.

Disneyland to LEGOLAND is no less than 65 minutes unless you are doing >80MPH. You cannot get from DL to LEGOLAND leaving DTD / DL at 5:30 and expect to arrive at LEGOLAND at 6:15.

Sounds like a great day. I'll be at Sea World. Not that it matters, since there will be plenty of parking right at the gate and no line at that time of night.

The "RoboCoaster" is Knight's Tournament.

Thanks. That is definitely not what I would consider a coaster. I learn something new every day.

Wow that is ambitious. I wish you luck, that is a coaster and theme park lovers dream day!!!

The Del Mar Fair may be your one glitch, if traffic and or parking are a mess. You may need to pay for premium parking, the lot should be opening back up at that time of the night.

I love that you are ending at Belmont Park and off to the Coaster Saloon to end the evening. Many a night we have ridden the 'dipper and then headed off for cocktails!

Actually, doorstep to mickey's doorstep is 25 min on a saturday from here in san clemente. from here to carlsbad is only about 15 minutes, you can make the trip in about 45 w/ no traffic from DLR to Carlsbad. given their schedule they should have no probs.

GOOD LUCK DB!! We will wave to you as you pass us on the 5 south!

And got off the Giant Dipper at 8:57 PM in San Diego http://www.micechat.com/forums/images/smilies/worship.gif

Amazing, if you looked at our "pre-adventure" planning, we had 14 hours to get everything done. SFMM opened at 10 AM, and the Giant Dipper closed at Midnight, we thought we would get on the Giant Dipper around 11 PM (leaving us some margin for traffic), the one worry was LEGOLAND, which closed at 7 PM. At LEGOLAND, we left the station of The Dragon coaster at 5:47 PM, which was AWESOME!

And even with a few minor delays ("which ride is shorter" at Knott's, 10 minute break at the Cove Bar ;), a Jack in the Box stop, 5 minutes at First Aid at LEGOLAND due to Lisa breaking a nail, buying Lottery Tickets at the Fair, SeaWorld having my old zip code and not allowing my AP to work, and having to stop at Guest Relations, and a quick break for Free Beer at the A-B center) we still beat our estimate by 2 hours!!!!!!!!!

We really lucked out with great parking spaces, and very little traffic (the worst was driving TO SFMM in the morning due to construction, and a bit of slowing in the Santa Monica area (405/10).

I still in a bit of disbelief, and I actually did it....

Anyway, time to go back to SeaWorld and watch Beleive again :)

That's 85.6 MPH to do it in 45 min and 0 minutes alloted for entry and exit from freeways and parking. They hate it when I drop my SUV off in the DL esplanade. ;) (64.2 mi / 0.75 hr)

ETA: We rode Journey to Atlantis at 7:50 PM and sent you some positive thoughts!
