Does DCL have professional portrait sittings on their cruises? While on Castaway Cay I'd like to get a family portrait done for my Christmas card. Not just a random tourist souvenier picture, but a nice photograph with the ship in the background.

Do people ever get married onboard & use a professional photographer? I was thinking that may be the best way of finding out. Maybe contacting the wedding dept...if they have one.

Also, what is the policy for getting a picture copied? Do they give a "release" so passengers can get their photos copied back home?

I know that you can book a time with the photographer -- and they do have several on CC. Just let them know where and when (but book early).
re: reprints ... I'm not certain because I've never done it -- some people just make their own copies at home.

I have recently purchased the Passporter Guide (2006 Disney Cruise) Under the topic "Photographs" is gives a web address where you can download a copyright release waiver.
www.image.com/guest-postcruise.htm (http://www.image.com/guest-postcruise.htm)

Hope this helps

I am editing this as I have just tried to get to this site and I am having no luck.

If all else fails, you can always ask a passing cast member to take a nice picture of your group with the ship in the background. Many places on CC where this is possible. Mrs. GusMan and I did this during our last trip and it turned out great. Im going to have it blown up soon so I can put it in my office.
