Does anyone know the specific dining room rotation on the 4 day cruises? We want to make Palo reservations but dont want to miss Animators Palate. Thanks Julie

rotation is PLAP LAPL or APLA -- based on who you are traveling with. Adults get two nights at Lumiere's (usually), families with younger kids tend to get two nights at animators and families with older kids tend to get two nights at Parrot Cay (I think you can request which rotation you prefer and they will try to acomodate you).

How late is Palo's open until? And can I prebook dinner there prior to boarding the cruise? I am thinking 1 night I am onboard doing the rotation to get the kids fed, then just my hubby & I having a late dinner at Palo's! Are late reservations harder to get then early?

On my last DCL cruise I had to cancel my reservation at Palo's because my then 1 year old was feeling ill.....so I am making it a plan to go this time ;)

Yes, you can book Palo before you board -- and then once you board if they have any openings -- they will let you know how late you can eat -- I'm guessing they are open till 10 or so... but anyone who'se been there lately might be able to say for sure. You can also get on the wait list and they will call you if someone cancels.
