Well...maybe.

Cast TV is promoting Minnie's Moonlit Madness with a "for everything else there's Mastercard" type commercial. When it mentions "Team shirts...$60.00" Kevin's Devo team is shown. It went quickly so I couldn't tell if Kevin was actually shown or not but it was his team...two guys in Devo shirts and a person in a yellow "power suit" in the background. Kevin's article (http://www.mouseplanet.com/kevin/ky042800.htm) never actually says what he wore either...making it harder to tell. If there are any CMs out there watching Cast TV keep an eye out. And congratulations Kevin, your team's heratige still lives on in Minnie's Moonlit Madness.

It is a closed circut television channel that is shown throughout disneyland backstage...

unless you are or were a cast member, you would most likey not know about it...

Ironically, I don't think I've ever actually seen a Cast Member willingly watching Cast TV. I wouldn't mind watching it a bit myself, but everyone else in the break room seems more interested in ESPN.

I watch every now and then...when I caught the Minnie's Moonlight Madness commercial I was at the Inn Between and the sound on the "Cast TV only" TV set was up for once. I think more people would watch if it didn't give off an advertising vibe all of the time. It mostly seams like they are trying to sell Disneyland to us when we are already there working. I like it much better when they air historical Disneyland footage or pieces that actully are informative about things going on. It would help if it wern't so cheezey most of the time too.

Rumor has it you can get it at the Disney owned hotels too, just check out Channel 8.

I watch it occasionally. Sometimes they run interesting features, like wold "World of Color" or "Disneyland" segments.

Hmmm...don't get your hopes up, Cast TV is nothing but a bunch of boring shows repeated every half hour. Much like the entire Bill Nye show on "Population" has been going on for the past week in honor of earth week.

Woo-hoo!!!!

I was not wearing the powder suit; I was wearing a shirt with "Devo" printed on it, and I think one of those hats. While it was embaressing at the time to run around chanting "Are we not men," it was exhiliratingly exhibitionist at the same time. Plus it gets remembered even now, almost ten years later.

Caught the commercial again today at lunch. Looking at it a second time I noticed that one of the two people wearing the Devo shirts was saying something to the camera...I couldn't tell at the time what it was but now I am sure that they were saying "Are we not men". Looking around at some of the other photos of you in your articles I think that it was you, Kevin. Either way, you may not have came in first place at any of the competitions...but it looks like you will be remembered more often than any of the other teams that have won.

They say were creatures of habit, I can watch the same show over and over again. (My Record Is For The Movie "Joe Dirt", Watched it 8x all in the same night.) :)
