Hello!

I am French and a Disney Theme park addict. I am AP at DLP & went to WDW last summer. This summer i will go to Japan for familly reason & i want to go TDresort.

I found plenty of picture & video sites but hardly any infos sites yet. Where can i get practical infos? I'll be there early august: how is it at that time ?

My main concern is:
What hotel for Tokyo Disney Resort ?

I'm not too sure about what hotels you can stay at.. there are a whole bunch of hotels right in the area.. but very expensive.. dont' know what your budget might be...


Not to burst your bubble.... but I find that August is the worst time to go to TDL... or to Japan for that matter... I'm not sure if you know how hot and humid it gets in Tokyo in August... think Orlando without the thunder storms...
PLUS all the Japanese students are off for summer break in August and many Japanese companies have a holiday in mid-August.

So, if you're planning on going to TDResort in August... brace yourself... very very hot.. long lines for everything (think at least an hour for every single ride).... and hotel costs are at their highest....

My last trip there I stayed at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay which was quite nice. This summer I'm going to try the Hilton Tokyo Bay, one of the new hotels that opened in the recent expansion. There are two Disney-themed hotels there now, but I found it to be too hard to get through on the international reservations line to book a room there. Check out the Tokyo Disney Resort web site, because it lists all the official hotels.

The Hilton has been there for years.
