I'm posting this under my wife's name and account (slowly and with only one hand...).

We'll be at Disneyland for the first time as a couple in about 15 days! The Wife went as a kid and together we've been to WDW 7 times. I've never been to DL before, so I was pretty psyched up about it until last night....

36 year old men shouldn't attempt anything they see teenagers do on ESPN's "X-Games", even if they have their very own BMX bike.

Besides Space Mountain and California Screaming, what rides would/might be off limits to a guy with a fractured clavicle?

I've got some free time this week to keep checking back on this thread (as "I won't be in this week boss"), so any idea's about off the beaten path fun or touring stratagies would be helpful and welcome.

Vicodine is WAY better when you're not actually in pain...

Thanks,

Chris

WHOA!!! broken clavicle? i'd say there's a lot you might not want to do.... i.e. anything where you could get slammed against the side of a vehicle... but that's what i'd do. and if you've got vicodin, bring it. :D

they also probably won't let you go on the maliboomer thing or anything else with shoulder restraints that come down over your head. good luck and have fun! :)

I'll second the "anyhting that might jostle you" vote. This may include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Matterhorn (either side), and Indy along with your list.

Let's add Star Tours, Autopia, Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Mullholland Madness, the swing cars of the Sunwheel, and probably even Roger Rabbit and Grizzly River Rapids.

Rides that people might not think about where they can get jostled: Pirates and Small World. Pirates is still closed but Small World is open. The rides themselves are fairly tame, but there's a chance that if it's crowded, the boats can run into each other, which normally wouldn't be a problem except if you're sensitive to that stuff because of a medical condition. Something to keep in mind.

Several years ag I had a kidney removed and my dotcor told me anything with a warning sign for pregnant women, people with bad backs or heart conditions would apply to me for the six months following the operation.

BTW, when you first get into Town Square your reaction may be "where is the castle?"!
