How strict are the CM's when inspecting bags into the park when they see glass baby food jars? I hate to go through the hassle of re-packaging into a tupperware, not to mention that once opened, the food will start to spoil?

thank you!

Try these. Plastic containers that you can reseal after opening and are plastic.

I don't know how stricked they are on caring glass jars but I have bought the plastic baby food and it has a lid too. I think the baby centers have a frige that you can put your food in. They also have high chairs to feed at. It is a really neat place.

I had no problems having glass babyfood jars at WDW when my daughter was 6 months (2004).

I know at DLR, if they find a glass jar in your bag, they won't let you take it in.
We were in line to get onto the Monorail at the Downtown Disney DLR entrance. A woman ahead of us had a jar of "Goober Grape" (Peanut butter and grape jelly) in her bag. The CM discovered it and told her: "NO glass jars in DLR"
The woman in line through a FIT. I mean a FIT. (She was really freaking out about it all). She said 'Well, what can I do?' The CM said, "Either I throw it out...or you take it somewhere else... like to your car/room/locker...I don't care...but it is NOT allowed in Disneyland".

Maybe they are different with baby food jars...but they sure didn't like Goober Grape jars!:p :D

Well, we went to DL this past Sunday, and I had two glass jars in my diaper bag... either they didn't really see it or care. One thing though, the only microwave you can use for baby food is at the baby center, located to the backside of the Kodak Photo spot. At DCA there are NO microwaves to use-- as I was told by the attendant at that baby center... how frustrating!:(

I think they have different standards for baby items since you are pretty limited as to what they can supply for a baby. Their option is really to let babyfood in or have the parents leave the park to feed the baby.

It really depends on the CM and how uptight they are. Most likely, as SoCalCoopers experienced, they won't find the babyfood in your bag. If they do and raise the issue, you might point out to them that the Baby Care Center sells baby food in jars so it doesn't make sense to forbid a product that they obviously allow inside the park.

I have yet to have a CM even notice the baby food jars.
