Just wondering.

It's a month away.

There's a 5K race on Saturday and a 15K on Sunday.

I plan on running both.

Mike, I am on "hold" trying to finalize a business trip that would have me in Orlando that weekend -if it comes to pass, I will be doing the Minnie 15K on Sunday. Keep your fingers crossed. I should know by the end of the week.

I did my first half marathon this past Saturday and loved it!

The business travel gods have smiled upon me and I will be in Orlando for the Minnie 15K!!!!!

So Mike, maybe I'll see you there. Good luck in both races. I am only doing the 15k.

Mike,
Your story on Mouseplanet from the 2006 WDW 1/2 Marathon was one of the inspirations for me to start training for the 2007 Half at WDW. Thanks so much for posting your story. I won't be running the Minnie Marathon, but I run my first 5k a week from today (April 15th) and then I'm training to run the Peachtree Road Race here in Atlanta on July 4th. So, good luck to you and the other Minnie Marathon participants. I'll be with you in spirit...keep running and inspiring others.

For anyone running that 15K on Minnie Marathon Weekend, I'll be wearing an official WDWTODAY t-shirt during that race. Please feel free to come up and say hi to me and help me pray that my healing broken ankle gets me through the 9 miles unscathed.

Finished the 5K in 33:57...first in my age group.

Finished the 15K in 1:52...very hot and humid.

Here are the medals...

I spoke to Mike earlier today. His ankle held up OK, but his knee was starting to hurt. Go figure!

Congrats, Mike!
