My friend and I are bringing her 1 month old son (and our older kids too) ( please no lectures about such a young child being at DL, she got enough from her husband!!) to DL next week and I was wondering if there are any rides she can carry an infant. I've heard CM's on Pirates say if the child can't sit up alone, then they can't go on( no laps). Is this the general rule? I don't mean anything like Splash or Matterhorn. Peter Pan Or Mr. Toad perhaps???:)

If the ride doesn't have a height requirement, with the exception of the Autopia, the baby can ride. Autopia has an age requirement of 12 mos old to ride. Moms like to nurse on Pirates, so I doubt the babies are sitting... We take the service dog on most of these. Laps are allowed. I cannot imagine a CM saying a one month old has to sit or you can't ride.

We first took DD when she was 6 months. She rode Pirates. I have never heard the rule that they had to be able to sit on their own. She rode just about every ride. Except the ones with height restrictions. Have fun!

We had no problem taking our 6 week old on Pirates or Haunted Mansion. One of the biggest helps is the baby care center on main Street. They have a nice quiet area for nursing.

have fun. well pirates you could take on her but her it closed right now. Well Haunted mansion, peter pan, IASW and some other are fine to take her on. I would think anything that does move a lot would be fine to take her on. Have a fun trip.

As the previous responders have said, if there is no height limit, baby can go on. The only exception would be Autopia, as they have to be 1 year old.
I see lots of laps on Pirates. That is false information about no laps on pirates. They DO have to sit alone on Roger Rabbit though. I wouldn't take a 1 month old on that or the Tea Cups, far to bumpy.

Have a wonderful jungle boat cruise, Mark Twain voyage, Pooh ride, HM mansion ride, all the dark rides in Fantasyland , at a month old the little one is just an apendage of your own body , if there are no height restrictions you are safe . No teacups or Roger Rabbit, Autopia or any Mts. Little one will sleep throughout most the day enjoy! And yep 100 percent for the baby center for a break and there is also a baby center at DCA by the Tortilla factory ENJOY!

What about BLAB? Does a baby have to be able to sit up on their own for that? For some reason I thought I read that somewhere.
