at character meals? We have booked the breakfast with Lilo and Stich and the princess lunch. I just would hesitate paying the 15+ bucks for her to eat with the princesses since she really eats nothing. Anyone know?

Anyone know? When we have take our 2yo nephew and 18mo nephew, they were free at the Character meals.

We took my 2 year old and 10 month old to Goofy's Kitchen. I specifically asked about them when I made the reservation (it was for Christmas Eve and I didn't want any surprises!). I was told at the time of reservation that they were free. This ended up being true. No one batted an eye at them.

Funny, too, because I think my son ate more than the adults! LOL!!

At the Lilo and Stich breakfast there are two options. Both the buffet and a plated (order off a menu). If you order something off the menu for your 2yo you will be asked to pay for it. If you daughter eats of your plate or from the buffet then there would be no charge.

When we took our daughter to the Princess Lunch, our waiter informed us that for kids under 3, you could order a half portion of a kids meal for free. It even came with the bucket and shovel.

I'm assuming this is true for WDW as well?

Children under the age of three are free at character meals and the Plaza birthday parties. They are served the same as anyone else in the party and get the royal treatment from staff.

This is our third trip to DW but first one with 4 children, all 9 and under going on the dining plan ( any advice?). Staying at the Yacht club in concierge (hope this was a good idea). We liked the look of the pool and closeness to epcot where most of our dinners will be eaten. We're also going the last week in Aug and first week of Sept. Any idea on crowds at this time? My question is the under 3 child for dinners on the dining plan. How does this work? Can she choose a kids meal or does she have to eat off our plates? Any advice or info will help.
