Perhaps it started out life as a Champagne bucket, but they're usually found on a stand... I don't know what this one's doing on the floor. The only thing I can think of is that it's now a simple, lowly trash can.
The thought of someone leaving a pickle wrapper or used cotton candy cone on those lovely velvet seats... gives me shivers.
They are often used to put parlor palms in.:)

Last week I noticed that the Tulips in some of the areas were starting to wilt and were on their last few days of blooming and I was wondering how long they would keep them there. Well, it sounds like they are now gone.
Also, I am positive that the women in POTC is saying "Don't tell him Carlos, don't be Chicken (said CHEE-ken)"
As for the secret potty, I forgot about the debate until last week during right before the parade when I needed the restroom and went over to the Rancho bathrooms. On my way back to meet up with my family, I noticed the "secret bathroom" and started laughing about all of the talk about it.

I was OBSESSED with all the tulips too !
So pretty - I have SO many pictures of flowers everywhere in the park !

I was literally running by when I took the one of the carousel quickly - too bad I didnt notice the chari in the corner & that its totally off center .. oh well - it still reminds me of how pretty it all was :)

DaddyB, your pictures are just great! Disney should use some of them in their publications! I especially like the flower shots. Keep it up and thanks for sharing!

Thanks for those great pictures inside the beautifully resotred Lilly Belle. I was lucky enough to ride in it once when it was part of the "Walking In Walt's Footsteps" tour. It was wodnerful then, but it is even better now. How lucky you were to get inside to take those pictures. Isn't fame wonderful?

They were SO gorgeous ... & it was wonderful to have such beautiful weather after the downpour on friday morning ( those were taken in the afternoon)
Your pictures really do inspire to me to get back into my hobby - as a matter of fact, Im heading outside right now to take some shots of the tulips & daffs in my backyard ;)

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Mickey climbing the Matterhorn! When did he do this? Does it happen often? How funny!

Almost every day during the summer and on Saturdays and Sundays during the "off season" around noon, somtimes again later in the afternoon. I have been there when he climbed three times a day. It all depends on the weather and if climbing Mickey is there I guess. He did many years ago, then during the Pressler/Harris years it was stopped. Now it's back. Another good thing from Matt and crew.

I thought it is one of the better appearances of Mickey Mouse. We saw him practising before he really "did" it, and I think it's not an easy climb.
But of course, since we were all cheering to him ("GO MICKEY GO! GO MICKEY GO!") with Minnie, he made it!!!

After watching him climb I have nothing but respect for whoever is in that costume. I know there are hidden foot holes and hand holds but he is wearing a big rubber head, huge Mickey gloves and those big red shoes. As a matter of fact, I have seen these costumed characters do some amazing stuff over the years in those heavy costumes, and it just amazes me what they can do.
