MARCH NEWS
Giant, a national entertainment magazine, recently named the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Casino Arcade one of the "Top 5 Arcades in the Country."
The Casino Arcade received top billing for its 300 plus arcade games including
Dance Dance Revolution and SkyTarget Flight Simulator.
Giant also noted, "the Classic Corner is a good place to check out Space
Invaders and Centipede while your stomach settles after a ride on the rickety
Giant Dipper roller coaster."
If you haven’t visited the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Arcades lately, they are open every day!
Great weather and a friendly crowd made the 24th Annual Clam Chowder Cook-Off and Festival a big success. The event raised money for Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation.
I was amazed at the variety of special ingredients used by contestants,
everything from hot peppers to Bailey’s Irish Cream!
Severino’s Grill in Aptos was a big winner in the restaurant division, claiming
top prizes for both their Manhattan and Boston chowders.

If you missed this great event last weekend, I hope you will make it next year!
